This home was exactly as described. Quiet, beautiful, and impeccably clean. Both my partner and I are sensitive to pet dander and were a little concerned that pets were welcome at this location, but neither of us had any kind of reaction. This place was spotless.
As far as location, it was about a 20minute drive from Bar Harbor downtown, which isnt too bad and came with the added benefit of seeing wild turkeys, deer, and ravens in the morning and being closer to Acadia National Park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rebook again if we're planning a trip to the area.
Super clean! Everything you need to stay! Perfect location to bar harbor and Acadia! We really enjoyed staying here and would definitely come again! Thank you for your hospitality.
We have been to Acadia a few times but were unprepared for how crowded it was, even after Labor Day. It made us that much more grateful for the peace and quiet at this cabin. Everything was as advertised and more!aand quiet
The property is beautiful. The cabin cozy and charming. The hosts are lovely and great communicators. The cabin was stocked with everything you will need. There is plenty of wood for the fire pit. Deer and turkeys come to visit. Book the trip! It will be magical.
The cabin is exactly as pictured. It’s immaculate and comfortable. We could sit outside and watch deer and wild turkeys walk right past us. It is just down the road from several Acadia hiking trails. We loved our stay there. We wished we could have stayed longer.
Beautiful well-furnished cabin in a serene location close to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and multiple hiking trails on MDI. Would definitely return.
Exceptional cozy cabin with ALL the essentials for your stay. Puppies loved roaming the grounds. Daily seeing deer/wild turkeys added to the cabins charm.
Close location to SW Harbor, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park was a plus. Highly recommend this cabin on Mt. Desert! Staying at Beech Hill made our trip to Acadia a perfect one! Thanks to David & Meg for their
hospitality. Hope to soon visit again!
This was our second time staying in Dave and Meg's beautiful cabin. It is the perfect place if you wan to stay away from the crowds in the park and downtown Bar Harbor. The cabin is extremely well equipped and comfortable. Dave and Meg are wonderful hosts.
Our first visit to Bar Harbor and we were not disappointed. David and Meg were very accommodating and responded quickly to all of our questions. Cabin was very clean and well stocked with all the essentials and more. Highly recommend!
Accommodations were comfortable, ideal place for getting to the park for hiking and biking, great amenities and loved the beautiful stone fireplace. Hope to stay there again!
We are very familiar with the island, having vacationed here for 30+ years. We knew the location of the cabin and love the ‘quiet side’ and what it offers. Tom turkeys greeted us upon arrival and every day for the week. The deer family of 7 were grazing on the property daily and the restfulness of the Quiet was just what we were seeking. Loved everything about the cabin, the hosts were wonderful, and, the fact it was dog friendly made us more content. Definitely THE place to base MDI activity; highly recommend!!
Superb, modern, spacious log cabin two miles from Beech Mountain and a short drive to other points in Acadia. Our family of four loved it as our base for exploring the park. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time! It's always a great place to stay. Convenient location to a lot of hiking and things to do. The hosts are easy to get ahold of and responsive to any questions or concerns. They are kind people!
Excellent property - comfortable, clean, quiet, and convenient. The property was accurately described in the listing. We had everything we needed. Very enjoyable stay.
