Villa with private pool and views located on the hills surrounding the city of Lucca, Tuscany.

Very nice, rustic stone house from the characteristic local pietra di Matraia stone. The holiday home is spacious and is divided on two floors, with a superb location at the top of a 300-metre high hill, offering a fantastic view of the classical Tuscan landscape of olive groves, vineyards and the small stone houses. There is a garden summer house, bbq and pizza oven. Emilia has been restored in a tasteful style with visible wooden beams in the ceilings and original antique terracotta stone floors. The décor is simple but functional.

Emilia offers you the following: entrance to living room with fireplace and corner kitchen (oven, gas hob, small fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and American coffee maker), television, dinette.
On the entresol is a large double room with en-suite bathroom with shower.
On the second floor you'll find a double room and a twin bedroom, a bathroom and a store room with washing machine.

Just a few meters from the house you will find the private swimming pool 4 x 8 mt, deep 1,30 mt. Around the pool there are sun chairs where you can pass your time just relaxing and enjoying the marvellous view. Children in or around the pool must be under adult supervision at all times. Close to the pool there is a small dependence with a small toilet.
Heating, internet wifi, mosquito nets in the windows. Aircondition in the bedrooms.
The bell tower you see on the pictures only ring on special occasions and not daily.

Heel leuk verblijf gehad!

Al bij al een zeer mooie woning met handig omheind zwembad. Alles is voorhanden. Enkele kleine details waren niet 100% (koelkast koelde niet supergoed maar was mede door de hitte, deurklink zat wat los,..) maar zoals vermeld, dat zijn details. Verder niet bereikbaar met auto (vrij steil stuk te wandelen tot aan het huis) en een kwartiertje haarspeldbochten tot de ‘bewoonde wereld’. Maar voor wie dit geen probleem vindt: prachtige uitzichten, absolute rust, mooi ruim zwembad, goed bed,… Zeer mooie regio.

Prachtige locatie !

Het huis Emilia ligt op een prachtige locatie. Heerlijk rustig gelegen. Het huis is sfeervol ingericht en voorzien van ruim voldoende servies en keuken accessoires zodat je van alle gemakken voorzien bent als je wil koken en een sfeervolle tafel kunt dekken. Er zijn verschillende zitjes in de tuin waar je kunt zonnen of een boek lezen in de schaduw. Het zwembad is heerlijk ruim en ligt prachtig. Het huis was heel schoon bij aankomst en de hulp was hulpvaardig en ondernam snel actie toen wij een wespennest vermoeden.

A very nice place to discover Tuscany !

The house is very lovely and located in a very quiet area just a few minutes away from Lucca by car. It is fully equiped and surrounded by a wonderful garden with a nice pool. It was a really lovely home

It was a really lovely home, with everything we needed! The grounds around the swimming pool were lovely. We wish we were there longer to make use of the BBQ, Pizza Oven, etc! I felt confident we were in good hands with Danitalia. Jon

Traumhafte Aussicht

Ein tolles Haus . Es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Mr. Tell war sehr nett und immer sofort für uns erreichbar. Das einzigste ist der Weg zum Haus unsere Autos waren zu lang um an das Haus zu fahren. Wir mussten leider alles hochtragen. Ansonsten haben wir den Urlaub sehr genossen . Toller Salzwasserpool ! Außenbereich mit Grill und Pizzaofen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Vielen Dank

Uniek rustig authentiek plekje

Boven op de heuvel , naast de kerk , alle ruimte rondom een landelijk huis. Flink wat haarspeldbochten maar zeer de moeite waard. Een heerlijke rust week gehad, op korte afstand van Lucca.

Amazing and phantastic

From the beginning to the end it was an amazing and phantastic stay in this house. Booking and communication was reliable. We had a very nice welcome and able to contact our contact person whenever we needed. The house is beautiful in a calm area high in the mountain (10-15 minutes by car To the next village). Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything is needed. We would love to come again. Perfect too for two couples because the bedroom are in a good distance. Thanks for the welcoming host

Belle maison meublée avec goût, agréable à vivre, avec une collection de peinture des plus colorées et de très intéressants luminaires. Vue magnifique sur la plaine; jardin au milieu des oliviers. Un regret que la piscine n'eut pas été ouverte, les enfants ont été déçus ...A demander confirmation auprès du propriétaire, selon la saison. Attention, les informations de Google Map induisent en erreur pour trouver l'endroit ; se référer aux indications du propriétaire. Encore merci à la personne qui nous a accueilli, d’être venu nous récupérer, passablement perdus !!!

Schönes Anwesen mit rustikalem Flair

Aufenthalt 02.10. bis 11.10.18 mit 4 Personen. Zum Anwesen fährt man über eine schmale und kurvenreiche Strecke auf einen Berg, von dem man einen tollen Ausblick hat. Das Haus und die Gartenanlage mit Pool machen einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. Das Haus selbst ist gut eingerichtet. Das Grundstück ist sehr groß. Es gibt hier keinen Lärm. In der Umgebung gibt es viel zu entdecken. Der nächste große Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Hier erhält man alles, was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt. TV/Sat: Es gibt nur italienische Programme. Die Internet-Anbindung ist vorhanden, aber zurzeit nur geeignet, um Emails, usw. abzurufen. Im Garten gibt es Granatäpfelbäume, Olivenbäume, Kaki-Bäume und viele Gewürze. Uns hat es hier gut gefallen. Vom örtlichen Verwalter sind wir gut bereut worden. Wir würden das Objekt wieder anmieten.

Amazing house with a great view

This place is amazing! The view from the garden is outstanding and the pool is really nice. We had the most wonderful stay here. It is ideally placed for visiting small villages, historic towns and driving through gorgeous Italian countryside. The house itself was stunning - would recommend it at any time.

We highly recommend Emilia - best house in Lucca

We highly recommend this place. It is much better than the pictures. What a view. The house is so charming and just what we were looking for and we will for sure come back. The garden is lovely and we really enjoyed the private pool. You need a car to stay here. There is a wonderful restaurant just downhill - il Botteghino. Great value and nice traditional Tuscan food. Elisabeth was a great host and always answered our questions promptly. Our holiday was perfect. Thanks.

Charming stone house in the hills above Lucca - gorgeous view

We loved our stay in Emilia. It was exactly the type of house we dreamt of so we are very happy with our holiday and we hope to be able to come back. We really enjoyed the evening we had the cooking mamma over - what a meal. All these Tuscan specialities with local wine. Thanks to Elisabeth for organizing this. The spot is perfect for exploring the major cities in Tuscany. We just did Lucca and Florence because we just needed to relax so we spend many days by the pool just reading. Very comfortable sunbeds. We would stay here again.
