About this property

The tranquility in the south of France

This small village house is located in the historic heart of the village on a pedestrian square.
It combines both the charm of old and modernism. The house has been totally renovated. Architectural constraints and redevelopment have not made it accessible to people with reduced mobility, the stairs are steep.

On the first floor, the living room includes an equipped kitchen and a lounge area with a sofa and a bathroom.
On the second floor: bright bedroom with terrace.

Presentation of the neighborhood
30 km from Narbonne and Carcassonne, 10 minutes from the Canal du Midi, 35 minutes from Gruissan Plage by car. The village offers all the amenities including nice restaurants and bars, and French language school for foreigners. Quiet and typical district of the south of France. Local shops are easily accessible on foot.
transport network
The village is easily accessible by the A61 motorway, exit n ° 25. The nearest station is Lézignan-Corbières. The nearest airports are Carcassonne, Beziers and Perpignan.
Other remarks
Non smoking accommodation and pets not allowed. Possibility of storing the bikes or a motorcycle in the room of the RDC with preliminary authorization.

A la fois proche de la mer et des circuits historiques, au coeur d'un village calme.

Très bon accueil. Les propriétaires d'une grande discrétion , ont été disponibles et serviables. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié leur totale confiance.

Modern comforts in a beautiful Medieval Maisonette

I struggle to say enough good things about this place without sounding (1) totally high or (2) like a paid spokesman (neither of which I am—really!). For a history buff like me, there’s something very special about staying in a stone-masonry house built hundreds of years ago and likely to be there hundreds of years later. First floor: convenient, we’ll-our-fitted, totally updated kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs: comfortable bed, high ceilings, beautiful terrace. All in the middle of a friendly village where I had the pleasure and good fortune to spend a week and was still sorry to leave.
