Modern home secluded on 55 acres--Breathtaking views of Pikes Peak- Pet Friendly

The Main house is one of two homes in the center of 55 private acres with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak. This three story home is perfect for multiple families to vacation together or for couples looking to bring their horses and ride new trails. It's close enough to town to run to dinner yet far enough away to enjoy the privacy of the mountains. Enjoy a fire in the pit outside or grilling dinner on the deck in our fresh mountain air.

There are four bedrooms and three full baths. The upper level has a private bathroom with tub, one king bed and a library sitting room with a small walk-out deck. A wrap around deck encompasses the main level which includes a fully stocked kitchen, dining room with seating for 9, living room with a wood burning stove, one walk-out bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with a bunk bed (double on lower and single on upper), and a full bathroom with tub and towel warmer. The lower walk-out style basement has a queen bed in the 4th bedroom, a newly remodeled (2021) bathroom with sliding glass shower doors, mini bar, game table with seating for 6, futon, and a piano. All three levels have large flat screen TV's with YouTube TV. The main level includes a Blu-Ray DVD Player, humidity controlled ventilation, and many additional upgrades. As of May 2023, we now have Starlink Internet! Come enjoy Colorado!

Perfect getaway
We had a great time at the cabin. The home, surrounding land, breathtaking scenery, and a herd of cows welcomed us in the morning and wished us well at the end of the day. I couldn't have asked for a better vacation with family. It brought back so many memories of our ranch, long since gone—we loved every minute.

Family of 9 was comfortable here. Kids loved visiting the cows and exploring woods nearby. House was well-furnished. Property manager was very responsive. The house wasn’t as clean as other VRBOs we’ve rented. Dining chairs not too stable. Living room furniture could be upgraded and/or cleaned. Overall we had a good time.

Our Family Getaway
Our family had a great time at this property tucked back in the mountains we had 13 people and this house was perfect. The little ones enjoyed playing on the huge deck and we all enjoyed the wildlife we saw just about every morning. We would come here to stay again.

Beautiful, peaceful week
This place provided everything needed. Kitchen well stocked, beautiful views even including Pikes Peak, bathrooms had shampoos and other necessities, lots of books to read, games, fire pit and wood, and even a piano. We were so busy exploring the places nearby that we didn’t need to watch TV. This is a beautiful getaway.

Beautiful Respite
We booked this property because of its location and privacy. We wanted a place to unwind and get away from the city. It was perfect! Booking was easy, communication with Natalie was spot on, and the whole house was great! The property is close to Divide - less than 10 minutes. We enjoyed the quiet. We had a fire one evening - finding firewood was simple. The kitchen was stocked with anything we might need. The laundry was better than I have at home! We enjoyed our eight nights at the Kickin Aspen Ranch. We would all highly recommend staying at this property.

Great stay on the ranch
We had a wonderful stay at the house. Our group of three couples each had their own bedroom and bathroom with lots of room to spare. Unbelievable views of Pike's Peak and the surrounding landscape. Loved seeing the cows each morning along with some visiting deer. The host was easy to communicate with and made the stay very relaxing.

Main House - Great house for an excellent Christmas
This was the main house that held most of our family and friends comfortably. As we had the main house, we were in the midst of everything, from cooking to cleaning! As I mentioned in my review of the guest house, it snowed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, which, for us (Texas, Louisiana, and Mexico), was a PERFECT White Christmas! The house and the location were great as it has an excellent view of Peak's Mountain. The land was filled with snow, as far as you can see. Although we were not near the barn like the guest house, it was great to see the animals by the barn and the wandering deer and bunnies we saw. We hope to plan another vacation at this location as we all fit perfectly. Our host was attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this place.

Family celebration
This beautiful main house and guest house were the perfect setting for multiple family groups to spend time together celebrating both my daughter's wedding and the start of a new year! Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable and we fed 14 people out of the well-appointed main house kitchen. The main house living area was smaller than it appeared in photos, but still worked fine for game nights and watching football. The views from the houses and walking the property are outstanding - like staying at a resort! For cold weather visits I suggest you read the instructions about the radiant floors and heating system first thing. The house was cold when we arrived, but we got it too hot inside and it took a whole day to cool down. Totally our fault and avoidable if we had just read the directions and been patient! Natalie responded quickly to our questions and also gave us some helpful tips on local activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Absolutely wonderful!

We had the best time and Natalie was the perfect host. It was everything we could ask for on our first trip to Colorado. The best part was waking up to snow the first day and seeing a very large herd of Elk from our bedroom window. The location was perfect, just far enough outside of town to enjoy the wilderness feel, but close enough to run back to the grocery store if you forgot something. Highly recommended!

Amazing Property
This was an amazing property. We rented both units for a family vacation. It was perfect for family time, but having separate space as well. The house was very clean and the owners were very responsive as well. The property feels very secluded but is still within easy driving distance to many of the tourist attractions around Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs.

This place was amazing. Off the beaten path but very close to everything we wanted to do. We blended tourist activities with kick-back family time. The property, and location, was the best of both worlds. The owner was extremely accommodating and responsive. Cannot wait to come back for another stay.

Worth every penny
I wish I could give this VRBO a six star rating for location. The house is great, the renter was friendly and helpful (there was a book chock full of local attractions and restaurants), and everything else was great, but the location was unbelievable. We constantly had deer, rabbits, chipmunks, ground squirrels, ravens, and more waiting to greet us in the morning. You can't hear any city noise and the view of Pikes Peak was breathtaking. I can't think of anywhere I'd rather be. Word to the wise: The grocer in Divide is a glorified convenience store and charges accordingly. Do your majority shopping down the hill in Woodland Park.

Thanksgiving in the Mountains
This property is in a beautiful setting. It is surrounded by trees and open space, with mountains in the distance. It is off the beaten path, yet only 5 short miles to a grocery store and more. The house is beautifully decorated in a mountain theme, and has a very welcoming feel upon entering. Natalie, the property owner was quickly responsive throughout the whole process. I would love to return in the future.

Great place for family reunion
This beautiful property was the perfect backdrop for our family reunion. We reserved both homes to accommodate the family and the smaller home allowed wheelchair access into home and room for my father. The quiet country setting was so relaxing, fire pits inviting and our time priceless!

Great for big groups
If you’re looking for a place to stay that will accommodate 10+ people you’ve found it! We had three couples, two single people, two teenagers, and a toddler and it was just enough room for all of us. We were under the impression that the couch downstairs pulled out into a bed but it didn’t. However, there is a futon that isn’t shown in the pics that will sleep one person or two very small people. That kind of threw a wrench in our initial sleeping arrangements but we just moved a few around and we’re able to sleep everyone comfortably. We looked at some properties that were bigger but everyone wouldn’t have had their own space. They definitely made the most of every inch of this house. It’s decorated beautifully and has gorgeous views of Pikes Peak The property is beautiful with lots of wildlife. We saw elk and deer daily. But it’s close enough to town that you can run to the store or to a restaurant quickly. The host is extremely accommodating and made the trip easy for us. She had a basket waiting for us with everything for s’more‘s, which the kids enjoyed. She has everything you’ll need in the kitchen so you can cook at home. The cleanup list was simple and took us no time before we left. I would definitely recommend this property.
