Very special family home with a large garden in the nicest neighborhood in Haarlem. Only 20 minutes by bike from the beach, a 7 minute walk to Haarlem city center and 20 minutes by car or train to Amsterdam. 4 (city) bikes available for your usage. Trampoline, X-box and large variety of Dutch books available.

Spacious house for large family group

We really enjoyed our stay at the house - it was spacious and we loved the modern open plan design in the downstairs living area. Rutger was very helpful, gave us detailed information on transfers from airport. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of cooking equipment. We used the bikes at the house to get us around Haarlem and also made it to Zandvoort beach one afternoon. Haarlem was a great base for us - close to Amsterdam on the train for a day trip and a short taxi ride to Schiphol airport. The town itself has plenty to offer with a picturesque windmill Molen de Adriaan, historic Grote Mrkt, and round off the day with a visit to De Jopenkerk brewery in a former church. Thanks for sharing your beautiful family house, the highlight for the children was the trampoline in the garden! Endless fun for them that they didn't want to go anywhere else!

Spacious home-from-home in a fantastic location!

We spent a week holidaying with another family in this well equipped house in a lovely neighbourhood. There was plenty to do locally with particular highlights being an evening canoeing with Safari Wetlands, a visit to the ten Boom house in Haarlem, cycling to the coast and a couple of days in Amsterdam. Owing to very hot weather, we were barely in the house and made full use of eating outside and spent evenings sitting on the comfortably furnished verandah. Steps up to the children’s beds were steep but absolutely fine for our teenagers & all the beds were comfortable. Contact with the host was prompt and helpful, and arrival & departure arrangements worked perfectly. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house for a family holiday.
