This upscale home is on one of several hillside neighborhoods that make Yachats the charming seaside village it is. A short walk to the Yachats wayside park for strolling along the sandy bay. Also just a short distance to the heart of the village with quaint shops and great restaurants, not to mention the friendliest and laid back atmosphere. This home offers one bedroom with a king bed, and a second bedroom with a queen bed. There is also a sofa that pulls out into a sleeper sofa. The sound of the ocean from the house is calming. Love the house with the rugs and folk art. Very comfortable. Lots of light. Good for cooking supplies

Perfect cozy home

We loved this place. Such a view. It also was clean, extremely well stocked and a very comfortable, cozy environment. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return.

Quiet with a fantastic view. Property was very clean and well equipped. From the window we saw Hummingbirds, Bats, Ground Squirrels and the tail end of a Racoon.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. Things that could improve our stay would have been more hot water so we could fill the bathe tub more that 1/4 full. We feel if they had an outdoor hit tub it would have made our stay perfect. Al & all it was enjoyable.

Even nicer than photos!

Views did not disappoint! Lush gardens and beautiful sunsets overlooking Yachats and the ocean. Convenient location but quiet and private. House was lovely, bigger and nicer than I expected. BYO shampoo etc., which the instructions are clear about. They include paper products and linens and stuff.

Great Little Place

I stayed here for an extended weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday with our kids and his parents. I'd previously stayed here over 5 years ago with our infant daughter during 4th of July. This is such a great little house. It's very clean and well-appointed with anything you might need. My only complaints would be the dim lights over the sink/vanity in the master bathroom (you'll want to bring a lighted mirror) and that the house isn't exactly safe for kids with all of the outlets and wires running to and fro, so make sure to never take your eyes off of your littles! Otherwise, we enjoyed the views, the closeness to shops in Yachats, and that the house is in a safe zone from a tsunami in the event of the "big one." I hope to make this our regular house rental on the coast.

Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Bella Vista; it's a very comfortable, solid house that hardly makes a noise even with strong winds and stronger gusts. There was plenty of room for my husband and I to both have our own space for our hobbies. The house is in a very quiet location.The absolutely best part was that during the big ice storm that hit while we were there, the gas stove kept the house very warm and the gas stove top enabled us to cook. The only thing we didn't have were lights which was taken care of with a few flashlights and candles. The negatives were that the only place you can see the ocean when sitting down is in the second bedroom and there isn't enough hot water to fill the big comfortable bathtub even half full. We would definitely go back.

Very convenient to Yachats and the ocean. Toad Hall is always a delightful stop. Bread and Roses a must. Up to Nye Beach for a meal at Nana’s and shopping at Jovi. Agate hunting at our best kept secret beach. Like I said, peace and Yachats.
