The City of Coronado requires a 26 night minimum reservation, but at this price you can afford to pay for a whole month even if you are only staying a couple of weeks! Please be sure your reservation request includes at least 26 nights.
The ocean view captures your attention the minute you enter. Floor to ceiling windows frame a view that is nothing but the beautiful, blue Pacific. When you step out onto the balcony (which you won't be able to resist) you see all the way to Mexico to the south and Point Loma to the north, and you could literally throw a rock from the balcony to the ocean (but please don't!). Relax for hours on the outdoor furniture or enjoy a meal or appetizers at the outdoor table.
Back inside, the custom kitchen was designed by the owner, who loves to entertain and cook. Enjoy the top of the line appliances and huge refrigerator, which features filtered water and an automatic ice maker. Keurig coffee maker, complete cookware and bakeware sets, dishware settings for 12 people, every kitchen tool a cook needs, and a dishwasher will make meal or snack preparation a joy.
A separate bar area adjoining the kitchen has both wine and beverage refrigerators to provide drinks for your guests while keeping them out of your cooking space.
The dining room table seats 6, plus another 4 bar stools at the island provide plenty of room for entertaining, and a table for 2 on the balcony is perfect for romantic dinners overlooking the sparkling ocean. You will be amazed by the ingenious way the dining room table rolls away to allow a queen size bed to fold down at night and provide a truly comfortable place for 2 to sleep.
The kitchen island is huge, covered in marble, and provides plenty of work and serving space, and gives the cook a clear view into the living area. If you can tear your gaze away from the ocean, you can watch the big screen internet TV using YouTube TV, wireless internet, or Netflix. Plenty of board games, cards, puzzles, and books are available if you prefer to enjoy the simpler things in life.
Travertine floors throughout eliminate any worry about tracking sand and saltwater into the unit. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy our home, not have to worry while using it. Air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room will keep you cool, but we suspect you will choose to just throw open the windows and enjoy the ocean breeze!
The master bedroom features a king size bed, premium all cotton bedding, large screen TV, and the last thing you will see each night is an unforgettable view of the moonlight glistening on the Pacific Ocean.
Just down the hall, the den houses a full size loft bed that is comfortable even for adults, with enough headroom to sit up and read in bed. There is even room beneath for an air mattress bed for some visiting grandkids.
The bathroom features unique sculpted tile, an unusual curved show door, marble topped vanity, and luxuriously fluffy towels. We even included a scale (though you may not want to use it after discovering all of the fantastic restaurants just a short walk away in the village).
When you are ready to head outside, feel free to use our coolers, paddle boards, boogie boards, surf boards, beach chairs, fire pit, horseshoes, canopies, beach towels, sand toys, tennis rackets, and bicycles. We will even leave you some firewood! You will find them all right downstairs in the underground storage area.
If you get tired of having sand between your toes, use the community pool, tennis courts, fitness center, or beach club. The pool buildings right on the beach provide convenient access to restrooms and showers. Take a bike ride through Coronado's quiet streets to look at the charming cottages and seaside mansions, walk across the street to enjoy the view of the bay and the Coronado Bay Bridge, or visit the community center and climb the rock wall, take a cooking class, or play a game of basketball. If seeing all that water makes you itch to get out on it, the marina across the street offers rentals of jet skis, sail boats, ski boats, or lots of other watercraft.
When you return from the beach or pool and want to throw those towels into the wash machine, just step across the hall to the convenient laundry room.
If you don't feel like cooking, take a walk uptown as the sun sets. The boardwalk goes right along the ocean, past the historic Hotel Del Coronado, and in just 15 minutes you can enjoy dozens of world-class restaurants and lounges. You won't have to eat in the same restaurant twice during your stay!
Be sure to read our local newspaper, The Eagle, to find out about all the local happenings. You won't want to miss the free concerts in the park on Sunday evenings or the Friday night dance bands at the Beach Club here at the Coronado Shores. Coronado is a lovely community that welcomes visitors and attracts an eclectic mix of people from all over the world who come to enjoy our small-town feel and friendliness in a location that offers the convenience of access to America's Finest City.
We will be here to greet you and will be available to offer any assistance you might need. We look forward to having you as our guests!
