Immersed in the green Tuscan countryside, in the Chianti area, in a small valley 3 km from San Casciano in Val di Pesa, Casale LA FORNACE consists of three apartments:

- "La Villetta" of 100 square meters, 4 adults + 2 children
- "La Grande" of 160 m2, 6 adults
- "La Loggia" of 100 m2, 2 adults + 2 children

Each with its own driveway entrance and private garden.

Our property is 15 km from Florence, 30 km from San Gimignano, 50 km from Siena, 80 km from Pisa, 80 km from Lucca.

The property has a small olive grove and a 70 square meter swimming pool, to be shared with other guests.

"La Villetta" is one of three apartments, independent, free on 4 sides, completely renovated, with private entrance, garden and parking.

It has two bedrooms for 4 comfortable places: 1 double bed (160x190cm) in the first room and two single beds (90 x190cm) in the second. Possibility of two more places on the sofa bed (120x190cm), in the living room. It has a modern kitchen, with all appliances, two bathrooms (1 with tub and 1 with shower), laundry room with washing machine and wardrobe. Satellite TV and unlimited WI-FI Internet.
Possibility to eat both indoors in the loggia and under the pergola.

It is surrounded by a garden with barbecue, table and chairs, sun loungers, parking area and a small olive grove.
The swimming pool is available to guests with deck chairs and umbrella (open from 1st June to 30th September).

Ideal location to spend a relaxing holiday in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.

A lovely Villa in San Casciano

This is a beautiful home, very neat and clean. Finding it is challenging, and the front road is hard. Do ask about the back road. For 5 stars it would be nice to have salt and pepper, maybe heat in October and some vinegar. The sitting area has one loveseat, and would be more comfortable with more sitting space.

Great, quiet space in the Tuscan Hills

The two bedroom was immaculate and very comfortable. The pool was a great touch, and the front porch used daily. It is a good drive on a winding road to reach the property; However, we had no intention to stay out after dark while visiting the area. Good central location to exploring Tuscany and very good for families. The only thing I would suggest is to stock the place with the basics like salt, sugar, pepper, olive oil, and coffee. We left ours for the next renters - not sure they are replenished, and it would have been nice to have them.

sehr erholsam

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gepflegt. Allein das Schlafsofa ist ein wenig eng, um zu dritt darauf zu sitzen. Aber das ist kein Grund für Punktabzug. Trotz Sprachbarriere wurden wir freundlich empfangen und haben auf unsere Fragen hilfreiche Antworten bekommen. Die Zufahrt ist wirklich abenteuerlich. Aber Dank der Alternativstrecke ist die Wohnung ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Florenz und in die Umgebung. Es war ein rundum schöner Urlaub und die Ferienwohnung ist ganz klar empfehlenswert.

Idyllisch gelegenes Anwesen im Herzen der Toskana

Das weitläufige Anwesen liegt im Val di Pesa, ca. 10 Min. vom auf dem Berg liegenden Örtchen San Casciano entfernt. Es kann von drei Seiten aus angefahren werden, wobei die unausgebauten, zum Teil extrem steilen, kurvigen und schlaglochübersäten Schotterpisten die Ausflüge in die vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung erschweren. Das sehr gepflegte, großzügig angelegte Anwesen beherbergt drei räumlich komplett voneinander getrennte Apartments sowie die vom Vermieter genutzte Wohnung. Das von uns genutzte Apartment hat einen großen Wohn- und Essbereich, zwei große und geräumig eingerichtete Schlafzimmer und zwei Bäder mit jeweils einer Dusche oder Badewanne. Die mit einer Einbaumöbeln modern eingerichtete Küche mit separatem Zugang verfügt über einen effektiven 4-Felder-Gasherd und einen Elektro-Backofen mit Ober-/Unterhitze, Umluft usw. Eine Filterkaffeemaschine und ein Toaster sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Der Essbereich ist mit einem sehr großen Tisch ausgestattet, der Wohnbereich mit Sat-Fernseher (kein deutsches Programm verfügbar) und ausziehbarer Liegecouch. Zum weitläufigen Garten ausgerichtet, liegt eine sehr schöne Veranda mit Esstisch und Stühlen sowie mehreren großen Gartenliegen und ein wunderschöner Feigenbaum :). Ein Kohlegrill steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Der sehr große, von allen Apartments getrennt angeordnete Gemeischaftspool rundet das Angebot des sehr schönen Anwesens ab. Das Wasser ist sehr sauber und wird zu unserer Freude nicht mit Chlor, sondern mit einer modernen Salzfilteranlage gereinigt, was den Badespaß noch erhöht. Um den ca. 1,20 m tiefen Pool sind viele Sonnenliegen, Stühle und mehrere Sonnenschirme aufgestellt, die natürlich je nach Nutzung verstellt werden können. Alles in Allem können wir das Anwesen mit dem sehr freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Vermieter, den Pool und den Garten ausdrücklich empfehlen! Einzig die Zufahrt zum Anwesen über die sehr schlechten Schotter- und Schlaglochpisten trüben unseren sehr guten Eindruck! Nächstes Jahr gerne wieder!!!

Schöne, ruhige Lage

Eine sehr gepflegte Anlage in einer ruhigen Lage. Die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr gut und unkompliziert. Man muss wissen, dass das Anwesen etwas abgelegen ist und zu Fuß nur wenig im Umfeld zu erreichen ist. Das war für uns aber vollkommen ok. Mit dem Auto sind es 10 Min zum nächsten größeren Ort. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable chez vous . La villetta est une très charmante maison avec un jardin très bien entretenu au milieu des vignes et des oliviers. Le calme est au Rendez vous à quelques kilomètres de Florence. C’est véritablement une adresse à retenir !!!! Merci pour tout

A great week in Tuscany

We had a very nice holiday in this house. Salvatore met us when we arrived and made us feel warmly welcomed. The house is well renovated and is located in the countryside but has close proximity to Florence. The private pool was very comfortable and we were the only ones who used it all week. The nearby nature protection area is well-utilized by locals and is available for walking or cycling. Would like to return some day!

Rustig gelegen villa met alle benodigdheden

Prachtig gelegen, goed onderhouden villa met vriendelijke concierges Salvatore en Rosalba. Alles was aanwezig en na 1 week werd het linnen ververst. Via hoofdweg moeilijk te bereiken maar één maal daar kregen we een sleutel om via afgelegen weg er gemakkelijker te geraken. Enig nadeel waren de muggen, er was van alles aanwezig om ze te bestrijden maar toch nog veel last van gehad. Prima vakantie!
