What a perfect weekend. Nathan and Ruth were so gracious and accommodating. From the cottage to the beach to the water everything was beautiful and so peaceful. We went for my partners bday and would absolutely visit again. We took our kayaks out and the water was breathtaking. It was so clear and the colours so rich. The cottage was spotless and we had everything we needed. Anyone who is wanting a peaceful weekend away full of beautiful scenery this is your place. Definitely exceeded our expectations
We had a wonderful time, the property is very well maintained and has all of the amenities one would need away from home. It felt as though we had the beach entirely to our selves, the waves form Lake Huron immediately pacified us into a relaxed state. The hospitality will be remembered!
This place was just lovely overall; the cottage was clean, comfortable, had everything required in the kitchen for basic cooking needs, the view of the beach is gorgeous and the beach itself stunning. The owners were very welcoming and kind. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat (and likely will)!
Beautiful property, lots of amenities and "extras" that we weren't expecting, and the owners were amazing people. We didn't hesitate to rebook on our way out!
The owners were very accommodating and helpful, they shared information about the area and we could just txt them if we needed anything.
The location was amazing, with a gorgeous view of Lake Huron.
The cabin was cosy with lots of space, fire pit belcony and sauna 😍We went Thanksgiving weekend, the colours were stunning and we are looking forward to returning again in the warmer months.
Ruth and Nathan are amazing hosts. They are available if needed and responsive to concerns.
The cottage was wonderful for a week stay, set up like your home with a full kitchen, bed linens, and drinkable water . The beach is close and nicely decked out with chairs, lounges, kids toys, etc
We could not have asked for better hosts. This was our first trip to Canada as a family and we thoroughly enjoyed it! As a rule we are fairly private people and like a quiet vacation and this was perfect. There are a total of three cabins (or as they call them cottages) on the property. They are nicely spaced and allow direct access to a wonderful and quiet sand beach on Lake Huron. Overall a great experience!

Most relaxing cottage vacation yet!
My group had a wonderful time staying at this cottage. It was a very comfortable stay. The pictures does not do justice. The beach was amazing - felt and looked like we were at the ocean. The owners are wonderful people - very helpful and friendly. And Manitoulin is a very quiet but relaxing place to visit with plenty of activities to do: hiking, cycling, swimming, fishing etc. We plan to stay for a week on our next visit!!

Family friendly Nature Retreat
This is a really nice cottage. It seems well built, and is finished entirely in wood inside.
The kitchen was well equipped. The upstairs bedrooms are roomy and very pleasant. The beach is a great place for walks, although the water is often fairly cold, because it's on lake Huron. Nathan and Ruth and their family are good hosts, helpful and friendly, with good advice on activities and places to visit. We really enjoyed the night sky in this quiet part of the island, and once darkness has fallen, the fireflies seem almost magical.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating :) The beach was to die for!!!
We had a great time at Dominion Bay cottages... it was pretty easy to find. The beach is amazing! The cottage was fully equipped! You just need to bring your personnal towels and beach towels :) There's a couple à places to visit around but we didn't want to spend time away from that beach! If you bring a dog it has to be on a leash. The owners have 3 Cottages so my son found some friends to play :) At night we were roasting mashmellow on the beach! That was very special, watching the stars and having a glass of wine beside the fire on the beach :) I can't wait to go back! Don't judge the cottage by the picture, it scared me because it doesn't look like those new cottages on TV but it was very clean and rustic... Thank you Dominion cottages for the wonderful time :)
