This beautifully appointed Sparrow Pond cottage features a picturesque sunroom overlooks the lagoon and you can view the ocean in the far distance, and watch the boats pass by. The fully equipped and updated kitchen with island seating is open to the main living areas. The spacious living room offers a beautifully furnished space that feels like home, and boasts a nice TV for movie nights, while the intimate dining area makes every meal feel special.

The deck back at the back of the cottage, overlooks the lagoon and distant ocean view, where you can take in the ocean breezes and catch a beautiful sunrise. Enjoy the peaceful outdoor surroundings from the large wraparound side deck, offering dining table and seating for 6.

Two of the three bedrooms boast King beds and each of the spacious bedrooms has its own private bathroom, updated with tile showers.

Awesome Rental!

This was our fourth time to Kiawah and favorite rental! The cottage had a third bathroom which was why we chose it. There was plenty of space for 6 of us! The third bathroom was really nice to have. This home was beautiful! The furniture was comfortable and had plenty of living area seating. The beds were very comfortable as well. The kitchen was well stocked, and there was a really big pantry room where we could keep all of our extra bags, drinks and food. There was a front porch that wrapped around to the back of the house and had a large table and nice grill. There was a beautiful back sitting room and the view was amazing!! Right on a lagoon and the ocean could be viewed in the background! Susie was great to work with, in fact, we ended up deciding to leave 4 days early due to a tropical storm and Susie worked with us to get some of our payment back. We did not expect that we would, but it was very appreciated, as we hated to have to make that decision. This is a great location, and a beautiful home with so much room! We will definitely look to stay here again in the future!!

Great location. Comfortable cottage.

My wife, two adult children and their spouses spent an enjoyable week at this clean, convenient and well-appointed cottage. We are long-time Kiawah vacationers, having first visited almost 30 years ago. My daughterssaid they liked this unit better than other places we've stayed

Clean, quiet, beautiful

This property was perfect for me and my family! First and foremost it was very clean and cozy. It had plenty of space to cook, have family dinners or watch tv/movies at night! The sun room is where my wife and I spent most of our time watching the sun rise while drinking coffee or winding down at night with a drink. We grilled out one night on back deck which also shares the beautiful views and has plenty of space for family and friends to gather. Beach is a short walk away. Walking and bike trails into town or "The Nest" where you can play hoops, little kids can run around or you can grab a sandwich/drink. I would highly recommend this place to family, friends or anyone for that matter. Thanks a ton!

Great & Beautiful

We had a great time at this house with its views of the ocean! It was bright & clean and very close to the beach & pool. We shopped at the Freshfields, rode bikes & took and rented a boat during our stay! It was wonderful and will be back.

Stay at Thrasher Court

Great house. Lovely, comfortable and well equipped . Very clean and very nicely decorated . Deck was wonderful with great view of lagoon . Well located, close to beach, quiet and peaceful. Very responsive and helpful contact person. She was wonderful . Had a great time and would definitely consider booking again in the future . Saw some great birds from the deck .

Beautiful cottage

Our stay was great! The cottage is spacious, nicely decorated and convenient to the beach and pool. Loved the view from the sunroom- especially during the night of the full moon! Kitchen was well stocked and the large laundry room was a plus. Susie was a pleasure to deal with and very quick to respond to our questions.

.Sparrow Pond cottage

The master bedroom has a skylight window above the bed. This makes it difficult to sleep with a bright moon or early sunrise. The oven is also very small. We had a problem with a swarming flying ant infestation the first couple of days but when we notified the property manager an exterminator quickly resolved the issue. We enjoyed the view from the sunroom overlooking the pond.

Inviting and Immaculate

We had a terrific stay at this well kept and well stocked cottage! An easy walk to the beach, pool and Cougar Point, it’s a great West Beach rental. The cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable with a lovely view. We also enjoyed the grill and deck area and also appreciated the bike rack behind the cottage. Susie was also great!

Wonderful cottage

The cottage was wonderful with a fully stocked kitchen. Each bedroom had its own bathroom! It was very convenient to the pool and beach. Our family will enjoy coming back next year!

Beautiful family friendly experience

Our visit was fantastic and we could not have been more pleased with the cottage. Everything in the cottage was labelled with instructions and we were provided with several recommendations from the renter regarding dining, golf, sight seeing, and beach details which were extremely helpful. We would return in a heartbeat.

Nice house in a good location

Overall the house was very nice. Beautiful view out back! The kitchen could use some updates but nice to have a clean updated refrigerator and Keurig. Susie was a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful and responsive to any requests.

Loved this Sparrow Pond cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute cottage. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nicely redone baths. The location is great - about a two to three minute bike ride to the beach. The cottage is loaded with plenty of storage including a large pantry for dry goods. The deck is awesome as is the view from the deck. We prefer West Beach because of its proximity to Freshfields Village as we enjoy biking to the grocery. We would not hesitate to return to this property.

Stylish comfortable west beach cottage at Kiawah

We enjoyed our stay at this cute little cottage near the Cougar Point golf course and beach. The walk to the beach is about 10 minutes. It is an easy ride to town since the Sparrow Pond cottages are the first turn after the gate. It was very comfortable for 4 adults. Susie was a great help throughout our stay!

Perfect Vacation

Our family (6 of us) really enjoyed this property. The home was beautiful and fit us perfectly. I didn’t realize until we got there that there is an ocean view! The neighborhood is quiet and low key. We enjoyed the bike rides, shaded walks to the beach, and the over all feel of Kiawah. Thank you for sharing your home! We hope to be back next year!

Perfect Family Cottage

We will definitely be returning to this property. It had everything we needed for our family. We have been renting houses in South Carolina for years (Kiawah, Seabrook, Pawleys) and this was among the best maintained and stocked house we've stayed in. The location is very quiet, yet a short distance to the beach and pool. It has a great sunroom to relax in the afternoons and the patio / grill were great for evening dinners. Susie was a piece of cake to deal with and was very communicative throughout the prep and stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely cottage - beautiful view

We enjoyed our week at Kiawah Island in this lovely cottage; 4 adults and one baby. The cottage is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The view of the pond off the back deck is gorgeous; lots of birds. We especially enjoyed the sunroom in the back. Really comfortable bed with great pillows and linens. Many towels provided. Two King master bedrooms; flat screen tvs in both. Great shower. Great laundry room; much appreciated with baby. Two King master bedrooms; flat screen tvs in both. Very nice gas grill and tools.

In 2007, a friend on nearby Seabrook Island asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner.
