Beautiful visit
It has a beautiful house in a lovely location. We had a fantastic time celebrating our daughter’s 30th birthday. The grandkids loved all the outside space and they had a blast . We would 100% go back at some point as it’s a beautiful for a gathering.

Perfect for large family Christmas
We had a wonderful time over Christmas with all the family. Kitchen was wonderfully stocked , had everything we needed for a big Christmas lunch and Boxing Day buffet. Beds were super comfy, house was lovely and warm. Beautiful location with lots of scenic countryside walks. The owners were great communicators, really helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Lovely cozy cottage
Superb cottage with amazing views. This cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. There was plenty of room for 8 of us. Kevin, the owner, provided some lovely fresh bread, milk and butter. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery, utensils, glasses and much more. The two lovely log fires added to the ambience along with the fresh Christmas tree and decorations. The chickens and ducks outside provided a few fresh eggs for our breakfast and in return we fed them their porridge. I highly recommend a stay here and will defintely return in the future.

Lovely stay in well-located spacious cottage
We had a great time in this well-spaced out property. Everyone in our party, which raged from an infant to an 80-year-old throughly enjoyed themselves. The exotic chickens were a particular draw, but a special mention goes to the way the house is laid out, which meant everyone in a large party was able to find some quiet space away from the main action. And there was tonnes of hot water for the after muddy walk baths and showers. Good spot for all kinds of activities: walking, swimming (in the sea or indoor pools) and even Snowdonia. Recommended.

Lovely location and great outdoor space
The location of the cottage is perfect, rural and quiet yet not too far from local amenities. The outside space was great and we were fortunate to have lovely weather during our stay so spent lots of time in the garden. The kids loved feeding the hens everyday and collecting eggs. The house itself is in need of updating. There was a smell of damp generally throughout and the kitchen, utility room and bathrooms had lots of damp patches and flaking paint on the walls. The kitchen was really well equipped with every utensil you could possibly need but the cupboards were old and swollen with damp. If it hadn’t of been for the warm weather meaning we could be outside most of the time and have all the windows open we would not of enjoyed it as much and probably marked it a 3/5.

A fabulous authentic Welsh farmhouse.
My family and I recently spent twelve days at this amazing property.I am a Welsh native but have lived in the U.S. for over forty years. The location was perfect, with the Welsh rolling hills, beautiful sunrises and of course plenty of sheep.I always forget how breathtaking the Welsh scenery is.Towns such as Mold,Wrexham and Chester are close by and if you feel like a walk or a more adventurous hike you can take off in any direction without hardly any restrictions. The house was very well equipped with two cozy fireplaces and ample room for everyone to have their own space if needed. We really enjoyed the chickens and the ducks. We fed the chickens,(our choice),throughout our stay and they were kind enough to reward us with fresh eggs everyday.Kevin Patterson, the owner was amazing. He gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived, showing us how everything worked in the house and leaving us fresh eggs and home baked bread. How cool is that?!Two local pubs ,The Rose and Crown and The Sun are within walking distance to the house and both were very friendly and accomodating to our rather large group in providing us with some delicious meals. Our stay was the best we could have imagined. So many places to see in less than a two hour drive from the house. If we had any questions or requests which were't many as we had eveything we needed,Kevin responded immediately.I highly recommend this farmhouse for any length of stay.Don't think you could find anything better.I have never been so homesick for Wales as I have been since this last trip over there.Llys Onnen was just so welcoming.Cannot wait to return,By the way,Kevin Patterson,YOU ROCK!
