Welcome to the Florida home you've been looking for, whether for a month's vacation or several months to look for a new home. We're located in a beautiful, mature golf course development in Sarasota (Palm Aire Country Club). Our spacious and comfortable villa with community pool just steps away, is centrally situated for any of the many attractions Sarasota and the State of Florida has to offer. Not only is it readily accessible to the Interstate I75 that quickly takes you anywhere on the Florida gulf coast, it is also only one hour from Tampa airport and ten minutes from Sarasota International Airport. Another five minutes and you're enjoying the Gulf beaches and downtown Sarasota. Relax outdoors with your morning coffee or evening barbecue on the lovely private front courtyard. Sip your glass of wine in the Florida room, move to the dining room for entertaining, and enjoy breakfast in the adjoining kitchen. Our soothing master bedroom with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom and walk in closet will ensure your good night's sleep. There is a queen bed in the guest room, that also enjoys an adjoining bathroom and plenty of storage and closet space. Additional guests can be accommodated on a pull out couch in the study that can be closed off for total privacy. Linens, Kitchenware, cable TV, high speed internet service, Washer/Dryer, beach chairs, everything you may need is provided. Convenient to beaches, Downtown, St. Armand's Circle, the new UTC Shopping Mall, Ellenton Outlet Mall, Benderson Int'l Rowing Park. This is a no smoking/no pet residence.

This villa is lovely and a home away from home.

We were very happy with the choice of this property. The owner was very helpful and responded quickly. It was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. Would rent here again.

Total Peace and Comfort in Sarasota!

Where to begin? Arrived at Diane’s lovely and super clean condo after a long 16 hour drive (in rain and fog) and opened the front door to a vase of lovely flowers, goodies on the kitchen table and in the fridge. It felt so welcoming and I felt at home right away. The home is immaculate and wants for nothing, and I mean nothing. I brought some herbs and spices with me but the cupboard had more than enough to get you started. I enjoy cooking and Diane had the kitchen up to par, and then some. The appliances were top notch and plentiful and dinnerware above average. I have been in other rentals where some of the glassware was plastic or cups chipped or mismatched....not here, and we so appreciated it! We enjoyed the beautiful artwork and pottery from around the world. The beds were very comfortable and linens and pillows plentiful. The bathrooms had supplies to get you started and it seemed some goodies were left behind by previous guests so it was fun to find all these different soaps and shampoos and lotions. I had brought my own Alexa to have background music but Diane had that covered too...in the master bedroom was a Google player. Alongside the master bedroom is an office that houses a large supply of books and dvds so on the occasional rainy day it was fun to go through the books and have a nice read. The community pool is a short walk away and can be seen from the lanai...water nice and warm and friendly neighbors too. We walked throughout the neighborhood, sometimes being accompanied by a group of Sandhill Cranes! On Sundays the Palm Air Country Club is open to the public for brunch and we had a wonderful breakfast there overlooking the golf course. Shopping...to your hearts content and ten minutes away at the University Town Center. Also not to miss...Drumming at Siesta Key Beach Sundays at 5:30, LaBarge boat ride at the marina in Sarasota, and the view from the 19th floor of the Westin Hotel across from the marina, there is a bar there as well. Oh, and the Farmers Market in downtown Sarasota on Saturday morning is great fun and you can cap that off with a great cup of coffee and dessert at Whole Foods right next door. But I digress...back to the sunny condo..I had a feeling of total comfort and safety and Diane has gone out of her way to make you feel at home. Thank you Dianne for making this an A-1 vacation for us! Oh, and don’t forget to go to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens...the city views are to die for!

This is a tremendous place to stay

We've stayed in Palm Aire for many years, visiting from the UK. This villa though exceeded our expectations, It's exceptionally clean, spacious and well equipped. The community pool is virtually in the back garden. The owner, who resides locally, met us upon arrival and checked during our stay to see if everything was OK. Palm Aire is a great place to stay, with restaurants and shopping very close, and beaches a short drive away. We have recommended this villa to friends who have booked for 2019

Great experience with everything you need and more.

I stayed here for one month while waiting to move into my new home after relocating from Colorado. This was a lifesaver. I work from home and did not really have a home. The office was probably better than any office I have had in any of my homes. The location was great and close to everything. Pretty neighboorhood. Quiet. The owner has everything you need including tea bags which non-coffee drinkers are not accustomed to. The owner is very helpful and it is really a benefit having a local owner. A very comfortable home.

Lovely villa

This was our second year staying in the villa for 5 weeks. Once again, we were very impressed with the cleanliness and accommodations. The owner checked in via text several times throughout out stay to see if there was anything we needed (we didn't). I found that to be reassuring and not overbearing at all. Hopefully we will be able to return next summer.

Thoroughly enjoyable

My wife and I spent two months here, while I was being treated for medical issues in Sarasota. The home is beautiful and spacious, and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need. The grounds in the community are beautiful as well, and I enjoyed jogging around them while my wife made use of the nearby pool. There is also an indoor and an outdoor porch that we made use of during our down time. All in all, I would totally recommend this home for your Sarasota stay

Wonderful place to stay

We rented this lovely villa for 5 1/2 weeks. Everything was better than expected. This property was very clean, I typically wipe down everything when I arrive, but not this time. The owner was pleasant to work with, very accommodating and responsive. The villa is very well stocked with anything one might need, plenty of towels, lines, kitchen supplies, even a well stocked garage with tools & cleaning supplies. Considering we stayed during the heat of the summer, I was concerned about it being too hot and needing to run the AC constantly. However, this villa is well shaded and easily stayed at a very comfortable temperature during the day and night. We had a very enjoyable stay and hope to return next year.

A great place to stay

The villa is well maintained and comfortable, and has all the comfort of home and well "stocked". The villa is located in the midst of shopping, attractions, dining, and markets. We had visited Sarasota before so we were already familiar with the area. The villa is about 15 minutes from downtown and Siesta Key, the #1 beach. About 25 minutes from Santa Maria Island and Longboat Key. A must see is the Ringling Museum and St Armands Circle also 15 minutes away. If you like to golf, you are near several good courses from championship courses to very good executive courses. Since we enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked the villa for next year for another 6 weeks.

Super rental!

My husband and I rented this villa for 3 and 1/2 months, sight unseen, and were thrilled when we walked in the door. It is well maintained, clean, comfortably furnished and in a quiet neighborhood. We were literally steps away from a private swimming pool and community gathering area. The owner is friendly, responsive and local which makes a huge difference. There was everything imaginable in the kitchen and that review comes from someone whose hobby is cooking. The community boasts two 18 hole golf courses and allows seasonal membership. Palm Aire is minutes away from shopping, restaurants, attractions and downtown areas. The perfect getaway for a relaxing interlude. We have already booked our reservation for next year!

Awesome place

It's one of the nicest and most comfortable places I have ever stayed. It was even better than the pictures. The landlord was a delight to deal with. It was even better than we expected. We hated to leave and hope to be back soon. When she advertises furnished she is not kidding. There was every possible thing I needed for the kitchen, and I cook a lot. I brought blankets, hangers and a few other things from my house because I have stayed in other places where they have nothing. I like that everybody makes sure there is soap, coffee, spices etc. All they ask you to do is replace it when you leave. It was so nice not to have to run out to the store for toilet paper, shampoo, etc. I highly recommend it and you will not be disappointed

Loved This Villa!

This was our second stay in this villa. Each time we stayed for four months, and we would choose this villa if we have another extended stay in Sarasota. This villa is extremely clean, well maintained, and comfortable. With the beautiful trees and plants, it felt like a peaceful tropical getaway. The area is very safe and quiet, and this villa is located at the end of a nice cul-de-sac, adding to its privacy. The owner was caring and attentive to any questions or needs we had during our stay. Just a short drive will take you to University Town Center and other stores and restaurants. Downtown Sarasota and several beaches are nearby as well. We loved this villa, and look forward to possibly returning in the future.
