Description
Shore Cote is an impressive five bedroom family beach house located in the quirky coastal village of Thorpeness. Sitting on the cliff top at the edge of the village the house boasts some of the best sea views in the area.
The property is bright and breezy and comfortably furnished with the sitting room enjoying panoramic sea views. French doors lead out to balcony/veranda offering magnificent views out to sea and garden. A small viewing area also enjoys lovely views towards the beach. Shore Cote has comfortable bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, dining room and an enclosed garden with a gate leading from the garden onto the beach.
Rental of Shore Cote includes membership of Thorpeness Country Club (Except Summer Programme) and 20% discount on green fees at Thorpeness Golf Club

Fabulous beach get away with friends
The house is a wonderful beachside escape. Perfectly positioned, coastal style old cottage - and so well equipped. The bedrooms are gorgeous. We had a lot of fun times on the deck overlooking the water. Perfect. Thank you.

Quaint & Quirky Beachside House
The house, and the area in general, give the feeling of stepping back in time. Inside it is very comfortable and quite spacious, and it's great having the beach almost outside. Bedrooms are comfortable, some with sea views (watch your head in some of them...). Bathrooms are downstairs only (which is clearly stated) which is a bit inconvenient, and the stairs are quite steep. A bigger TV would be nice, although we didn't spend much time watching. Externally the property would benefit from a bit more maintenance. However, none of the above would prevent us booking again, and the stay was enjoyable.

Wonderful house in a lovely location
We stayed here as a group of friends. I have rented several cottages in the past and this was the best equipped one I have rented. I can’t think of anything we wanted that was missing. The house is in a quiet location on the beach within walking distance of a great pub (with great food). Check in process was easy. Would definitely return!

Would love to rent again
A group of 8 of us stayed in early January and had the most fantastic time. Beautiful property, wonderful seafront location ideal for walks, and a short walk to local pub and eatery. Very warm inside. All rooms are an excellent size even for a group of adults and beds very comfortable. Mind your head if you're tall on the steps and they are quite steep! Due to all houses being names slightly difficult to track down once we arrived in the area but fine. There is limited guidance on checking in, what water system is used, heating controls etc especially in an older property but we managed to find out way. We definitely would love to return!

A Perfect Family Break
Shorecote is a well equipped and comfortable house in the most perfect location. Wonderful sea views from the lounge and main bedrooms. The enclosed garden with its own gated access to the beach was perfect for our 3 young grandchildren. Booking was easy and everyone we dealt with was extremely helpful. Thorpeness itself had plenty to occupy us and the whole family loved boating on The Meare. I would highly recommend Shorecote.

Great place for a gathering of family or friends. It was warm, cosy with fantastic views. The stairs are a little steep but were fine for us. I would definitely book again.

WE had a lovely weekend in well equipped family house. Loved the welcoming bunch of tulips. Plenty of room forb 8 of us aged 9 t0 78. Enjoyed the sea views and walk into Aldeburgh and visit to The Dolphin. Weather a bit blowy. Must be great in the summer Thanks for a lovely stay
