Olas de Astillero Resort is 8.4 acres of Nicaragua Pacific Coast property with 500 ft of beachfront on el Astillero Bay. This traditional fishing village borders the south of the Rio Escalante in Tola region. The town is a hub for some of the best sport fishing in Nicaragua, The property is a part of the 18 square mile Chacocente Nature Preserve, with 11 kilometers of protected sea turtles nesting beaches with stunning natural beautuy. Tola is the host of international Surfing competitions, and a prime destination for surf, the resort has numerous breaks out front and an easy walking distance to Lances Left (world class wave). Fresh fish off the boats, predominant off shore winds, and great waves! Astilero is just 30 minutes from Costa Emeralda International Airport.
Three comfortable and attractive Spanish colonial bungalows to choose from; one with queen bed and a family loft for small children, one with two singles, and another with two single bunk beds.
The property is a naturalists paradise with a pond, and many different types of native flowering trees and lots of fruit trees. Enjoy bird watching from a thatched roof pavilion beside the beach. Easily walk to the nearby wildlife reserve of Chacocente or do a boat trip to fish or surf, and end the day with a georgous panoramic view of the entire bay , surf and sunset.
