Adequate accommodation

Difficult to find on arrival, location not very clean and there is no garden. Lots of bidrds and geese etc wander around the property which is one of a number of holiday lettings in a small location with some rough communal parking area. The property was adequately equipped but no Dwasher, washing machine, hairdryer and normally for this price we expected these facilities. Ideally located for trips out each day north south and west to wonderful beaches and places of interest.

Good base for exploring this wonderful area

Cosy and comfortable cottage in peaceful village, very convenient for north Northumberland with the outstanding beach and castle at Bamburgh and walking in the Cheviots in easy reach. Beware the free range (and sometimes noisy) ducks geese and other fowl which give the place a distinctive atmosphere!
