October get away.

We arrived on Friday afternoon, weather was rubbish !! On entering the property, the warm heating surrounded you. Lovely as it was getting cold outside. Looked around downstairs and upstairs I knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Felt home from home. Equipped with everything you could want. The bed was so comfortable, I had a great nights sleep for being my first night. The estate was lovely to walk our dog as was the family garden. Didn’t need to eat out, was happy to cook and enjoy the relaxation. Would definitely book this property again. Got to meet Richard who was a friendly gentlemen. Contact with owner was brilliant and couldn’t fault it. Thank you Richard & family.

Nice little cottage tucked away in a new estate

Well equipped, clean and tidy and up to date. We went for a long weekend and had a nice relaxing time. Very close to beach and a couple of nice eateries (Owl very good). Would recommend for families and couples alike. Camber sands beach is gorgeous but hard work climbing up the dunes - worth it in the end. A good find on owners direct !

modern holiday let with all you could need for a holiday on the coast in the UK

With a five minute walk to the Camber dunes the location of the house in a new estate is ideal for a beach holiday if you get the weather. The climb over the dunes is a challenge if over burdened the beach entrance at the other end of Camber is an alternative. The house is well equipped with the bonus of some beach games and wind breaks for the beach, much appreciated. Then for poor weather days plenty to keep the children occupied including a couple of games consoles. Good advice in the house folder for eating in and around Rye, we tried the Union in Rye and the New Inn in Winchelsea. And a day out at Bodiam castle via the light railway was a good day out. We all enjoyed staying at the beach house. Only points to note. The only shower is in the en-suite and the internet speed is poor but that helped get the children off their phones so that had a silver lining.

Lovely holiday cottage

This was a great holiday cottage for my friend's and my family's long weekend holiday. It is really only 5 minutes to the Camber beach area, and nice scenic drive to Dover to see the White Cliffs and the castle. We all really enjoyed our stay, especially my friend's two girls (ages 4 and 7). There were games and DVDs for them to watch during the especially rainy day. We even received a handwritten note from the owners with their contact information upon arrival. The property was clean and well-maintained, the rooms were a decent size and there was plenty of parking for the two cars. Would definitely recommend or visit again!

Perfect holiday

Fantastic property! Really well equipped and so comfortable. Everything is clean, new and smartly furnished. It was such a treat to stay here. Close to the beach and safe for the kids. lots of local sights to see. We walked into Rye for dinner one night. I'd highly recommend this place and would like to return. Richard and Sophie were also very helpful.

Very clean, warm and cosy

This was our second stay at Whitesands but in a different property. The house was very clean, warm and cosy and is to a very high standard, from all the kitchen equipment to the bed linen. There are books, games, dvd's, music centre, in fact everything required for an enjoyable home from home holiday. Just a short walk to the most beautiful sandy beach which can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

Lovely holiday home

Pretty, well furnished house very close to the wonderful beach. The lounge furniture is very comfortable, and ideal in case the weather isn't too good. The kitchen is well equipped (although we couldn't find the microwave or any tea towels) and the beds are comfortable with good linen. Overall we would highly recommend it, and perfect for a family with kids. Lots of places to eat in Camber and Rye. The Green Owl is within walking distance and serves good food, and The George in Rye is a great place for a drink but a little expensive to eat.
