About this property

High end rental!! Professionally managed. Don't risk staying somewhere not clean and taken care of. 3 bed (two king beds, and bunk bed) also two twin beds in loft for overflow. One full bath and one 3/4 bath. Large deck with gas grill overlooking the creek. Roast some mallows in the fire pit next to the creek. Firewood provided. Fully stocked gourmet kitchen and washer and dryer for your convenience. Dish Network and Internet included! Cozy up on the couch the warmth and ambiance of the pellet stove. Convenient location right off of Fall River Road.

You will not find a nicer VRBO for the money. ATV tours right down the road (atvexperience.com). Enjoy some great hiking. Fish at one of two private lakes (two fishing badges included with your stay). Two kayak permits also supplied-must bring your own kayak though. Grill out on the deck and enjoy the creek and wooded backyard - private fire pit close by!

Right down the trail head for the glacier hike. Bring your own atv and enjoy the many trails. Several rafting outfitters 10 miles away.

11 miles from Idaho Springs. Enjoy the boutique shops, bars, restaurants, and Argo Mine tour.

If you visit the Rocky Mountains ANYTIME in winter, a 4 wheel or all wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended. Please be prepared!

Winter wonderland

We spent two weeks of sabbatical here and it was perfectly peaceful and serene. We felt at home immediately. We went sledding in the backyard and walked through the neighborhood. It was easy to get to town because the streets were well plowed. Tom had taken care all sorts of hospitality details anything we needed we had and more. By far one of our best rentals ever.

Weekend getaway for skiing!!

We had a great weekend at the property with easy access to Idaho Springs and Loveland Ski Area. The house was beautiful and cozy and we really enjoyed our time there.

Beautiful cabin!

We’ve always wanted to stay close to a running stream that we could sit by and enjoy the beautiful sound and sights of Colorado….this is the place! Our 3 year old grandson learned how to fish at the nearby lake surrounded by mountains and we even saw a moose bathing in the lake! We will definitely be bringing our family here again!

Lovely Mountain Home

This lovely house was a great choice for our stay. Comfortable living and bedroom furniture and a well stocked kitchen made us feel at home. The house is an easy walk to St. Mary’s Glacier trailhead, so need to worry about paying for parking at the trailhead. We saw mule deer in the yard and a moose family on the St. Mary's Glacier trail. When we weren't hiking with our dog (lots of trails within an easy drive), we really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the warm afternoon sun, listening to the rushing water of the creek. Idaho Springs, with a grocery store and several shops and restaurants is a 15 minute drive away. We truly enjoyed our fall getaway.

Relaxing family getaway

Very clean and comfortable home away from home ! Loved all the extra amenities (toiletries) and was perfect for our family of 4. The sound of the creek was relaxing and I enjoyed sitting on the deck. Close to the start of the hike to St Mary’s Glacier.

What a gem!

I have stayed at many rental properties in my time. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to accommodations, I like nice things. This place was amazing!!!! The home had everything you would need, it was tasteful decorated with a very comfortable sofa and amazing kitchen. We had a blast making a campfire and listening to the roaring creek! So peaceful and relaxing. We had fun going into Georgetown and Idaho Springs to shop and dine. You will not go wrong picking this place! Beds were comfortable and we didn’t want to leave! Thanks for hosting us at your amazing property, we will be back!! Last tip, get all of your groceries before heading in!

We first bought our own property in St Mary's in 2009 and quickly fell in love with the area. We purchased our current home in 2013 and also bought the lot next door, on which the previous house had burned down in 2006. My original plan was to build a carriage house, but that plan has morphed into a beautiful 3 bed 2 bath home for your St. Mary's getaway!

Newest and nicest rental in St Mary's! Truly a high end rental with all the fine finishes. All three bedrooms are on the main floor, giving you a wide open great room with vaulted ceilings on the upper level. Enjoy sitting on the deck and listing to the creek.
Convenient location right off of Fall River Road and close to the glacier hike. Walk down the road to do an ATV tour!
