On our visit to England, we stayed at Holly's apartment twice, with the two visits three weeks apart. The first visit was on our arrival in May and the weather was a little cool and the second was in early June when things had started to warm up nicely.
By our second visit we had managed to get used to the little foibles of the apartment, particularly the shower.
Both Holly and, on the second visit, Jurgen were easy to deal with and communicated well. The location was excellent being so close to the Natural History Museum, the V and A and the Tube station. I enjoyed my passages through thr tube station as most of the time we met up with hoarde of excited children on the way to or from the museums. Touring the dinosaur exhibition was fun in itsrlf but the children just added to it.
We would happily stay in the apartment again should the opportunity arise.
Location was so convenient to the underground and walkable to museums and Hyde Park. It was wonderful to have such a well-equipped kitchen to prepare simple meals in the flat after long days of sight seeing. Convenient food shopping very close as well as great pubs and eateries. Highly recommend! Thanks, Holly!
The location of the flat was perfect! I wanted to be close to the V&A, and this was very close--about a 10 minute walk. It was also easy to reach other London destinations, either by walking or taking nearby transit. The flat itself was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with pots and pans for basic cooking. There was plenty of closet space for hanging clothes. Holly, the host, was friendly and helpful. I was able to check in when I arrived from Heathrow, around 9 in the morning, which was a huge benefit. Getting to the flat from Heathrow by tube was also easy. I hope to stay in the flat again, and I recommend it to others traveling either on their own or with a partner or friend.
For a girl’s trip week, this was the perfect location to come back to in the evenings after visiting museums, theater and shopping during the day. You'll have everything you need to be comfortable and the hosts are easily reached and accommodating.
We had a lovely stay. The hosts were terrific. We loved having a clean and comfortable home base for our visit to London. It's in a nice area, situated between two tube stops and close to museums, shops and restaurants. The space worked out great and we really liked being able to make tea and have toast in the morning. The whole apartment was very well equipped! We would certainly recommend it.
We loved our stay. The location was perfectly situated between two very accessible tube stations. Many restaurants and food shops within walking distance. The flat had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice sitting and kitchen area which we could have taken more advantage of but we were so busy seeing the sights that we didn't spend much time indoors. If you're looking for a place to sleep (and maybe make your own meals) while you visit the city, this is the place to do it.
My daughter and I had the pleasure of spending eight days in South Kensington. This apartment is in the perfect location…nice and quiet street with the restaurants and shops all just around the corner. Easy walk to two tube stations and bus stops. Holly was available to answer any questions and was so kind. The beds and linens were amazing and were wonderful to rest up in after long days off sightseeing! Highly recommend!
Holly’s flat was perfect for our week stay in London. It was located in a lovely part of town with great museums, restaurants, cafes, and pubs nearby. It was also a short walk to the tube, so it was easy to take a train to any other part of London. The flat itself had all we needed: a comfortable bed, refrigerator, stove, and bathroom with a nice shower. Holly was a lovely host and very easy to communicate with. We very much recommend this spot!

Basement flat
It’s not readily apparent that this is a basement unit. I discovered this after I made a non refundable payment. The flat is accessed by a somewhat steep staircase from the street. We loved the location and the quiet at night. We were bothered by the uneven flooring, lack of air circulation, and the fact that we saw people’s feet as they walked by. Although well provisioned, the furniture and linens are pretty worn. The flat could use some TLC.
This flat was just about perfect for us. It was our first time in London, and we loved staying in our own little flat close to restaurants and Tube stations (it's five minutes' walk away from two stations, plus about a block away from a bus stop). Holly was a perfect host -- close by in case of emergencies, very friendly, but also super respectful of our privacy. It was a pleasure meeting her! The flat is exactly as pictured/described. You can rent this one with confidence! We would definitely stay here again.
What an excellent flat! The host is welcoming, unobtrusive and available. She left excellent information on nearby restaurants and shops. The flat was perfect for a friend and I to share. The dressing room / bathroom area is great if one traveler sleeps in while the other is up and running! This flat and this host are wonderful!
Wonderful garden apartment (note:there are steps) with comfortable bed, clean kitchen and bath and super Kensington/Hyde park location. Close to 2 tube stops, grocery, pubs and park. This was our first visit to London but hope we can come again and would not hesitate to stay here again! Thank you

Within a 7 minute walk of Gloucester Road tube station on the Piccadilly line from Heathrow Airport and we were into our cosy comfortable London abode, relatively quickly after landing . Holly greeted us herself and gave us all the information to enable us to have a very pleasant week.
We enjoyed dinner at nearby restaurants, purchased makings of dinner from nearby Waitrose and wine shops. A trip to the museums with afternoon tea at either Ampersand or Kensington Hotels was easily achieved. Other days we either caught the tube trains or caught the Number 14 red bus to central London destinations. Apart from the chilly weather which no one had any control of , everything was perfect. Thank you, Holly. Helen and Warwick Fairlie
Comfortable place to stay in a nice, safe neighborhood...walking distance to museums, parks, and an easy tube ride to the airport or other sites...plenty of restaurants/pubs/grocery stores nearby...I really enjoyed staying and meeting Holly.
We feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to stay at this property. The flat was very comfortable and exceeded our expectations - and the garden was a bonus. We loved spending time in the outdoor space. The neighborhood was fantastic. It was close to the tube, grocery, restaurants and attractions. Holly was the perfect host. She welcomed us when we arrived and was always available to answer questions. We can't wait to return!
Nice place in a nice location. Clean, large enough to relax in, full kitchenette, which we used quite a bit, access to the lovely community garden in the back, which we used only once, but it served as a beautiful place to have our final meal before heading back to the states. The location was very nice. We never felt unsafe and it was equidistant (a 5- to 10-minute walk) from both the Gloucester Road and South Kensington Tube stations. Worked well.
This is one of the best stays I’ve ever had with vacation cottages. Our hostess greeted us, oriented us, gave us valuable insights; she was an instant friend. The apartment is so nicely decorated and maintained. Not one thing is in need of repair. She has anticipated needs of travelers and has little extras at the ready. I only wish I had booked for longer.
Location. Location. Location. The property is as described and is close to groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Having access to a garden is a special treat in downtown London and it is very private. The hostess is very knowledgeable and is available to you with your needs. Highly recommend this stay for its comfort, cleanliness and convenience.
"Travelling Seniors"
This property was perfect for my husband and myself. Comfortable beds and a very quiet unit which let us get some much needed sleep after a long days of walking. Had everything we needed if we wanted to cook in or we were just around the corner from restaurants and shops. Perfect central location for us. Holly and her husband were fabulous hosts! Don't hesitate to book this place. You won't be disappointed!
