Traditional Cape Cod style home with a large, private yard, sunny deck, outdoor shower and hammock in a quiet Chatham neighborhood.

• Great Location!
This is a great home base for your adventures in Chatham and Cape Cod. Centrally located but still quiet, private, lovely vacation spot near nice beaches, the bike path, walking areas, excellent shopping and restaurants. The house sits in a quiet area on a dead-end road to Oyster Pond, with no through traffic or public access. 3 minute walk down “The Garden Path”, a grassy path that runs from the house to the local fish market, deli, natural food store, pizza and favorite restaurants, Mac’s Seafood and Pate’s. Walk, bike or drive 1.3 miles to downtown Chatham, 1.7 miles to renowned Hardings Beach and more.

• Perfect for days at the beach.
We have everything you need: beach chairs, sand umbrella, sand toys and cooler. Chatham has quite a variety of ocean and fresh water beaches. Renowned Hardings Beach is a short 5 min drive away. Outdoor shower and a clothes line make trips from the beach easy.

• Relax in the yard or on the deck.
Hang in the hammock to nap or read in the shade. Play games in the large, private yard, suitable for family soccer, wiffleball, bocce and croquet games that are fun for all ages. Have a meal, entertain or just relax on the deck. The deck has comfortable furniture, dining table and a large gas grill. One of our favorites is to explore “The Garden Path”, a grassy path that runs from the house toward Oyster Pond.

• Everything You Need.
Fully stocked kitchen, laundry (full size), grill and shed with beach paraphernalia and lawn games. There are some other helpful items in the house such as binoculars, books with local activities and history, maps and information about local activities, etc. Smart TV access to your streaming accounts like Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, etc.

Great Stay

Perfect stay

The stay was wonderful, home is in a great location, and was equipped with everything we needed - the kitchen, we grilled, we did laundry a couple of nights. Sat out on the deck and played in the yard with our kids. It was a short 3 minute walk to Mac's Seafood - which was our favorite restaurant!! Pate's and Chatham Cut are both also 3-5 min walk! A quick 5-10 min drive anywhere else - grocery store, downtown. Favorite beach - Hardings Beach - was only a mile away. Bonnie was a great host and very easy to communicate with. Thank you for a great stay!

Family vacation in Chatham

We stayed at Bonnie's cottage Aug 3-Aug 10. We stayed in Chatham last year as well, but this years rental was far better. Bonnie has thought of everything. We really enjoyed the beautiful views and breezes off the back deck. We grilled and ate outside most nights. My husband watched the sun rise every morning. My kids ages 8 and 10 really enjoyed playing badmitton and cornhole in the large backyard. My sons favorite beach was Hardings Beach, so close only 5 minutes from the house, it had small waves and warmer water, not as big as the waves on the National Seashore, which we also frequented, Coast Guard Beach and Nauset Light. Spectacular dunes on those, bigger waves and colder water but very refreshing! We really enjoyed taking a hike in Monomoy National Wildlife Park. I would highly recommend going. Oyster Pond was also delightful and free parking. My infant son really enjoyed floating around in his floatie at Schoolhouse Pond while mom/dad and our bigger kids swam and took turns rising our kayak. We had an incredible time. The house was clean, decorated beautifully with coastal prints and details. The beds were comfortable. Having laundry room and outdoor shower huge plus. Overall it was a perfect choice for us and we hope to return next year. Thanks for having us Bonnie!

Family trip

We had a great time! The house had everything we needed except linen and towels, but the owner notified us that we could bring ours or rent and we decided to bring ours. The owner was very responsive and made great recommendations for things to do. The beaches were super close and lots of fun. We would recommend this house to our friends and family.

Perfect family house in Chatham

My family loved our stay in this wonderful house. The house was very clean and well maintained. It is on a quiet street with a short 5 minute ride to Ridgevale beach which was perfect for my young kids. My kids also loved the yard and the outdoor shower. It was very peaceful having coffee and breakfast on the deck each morning. The host, Bonnie, was very helpful and gave us some great information on how to make the most of our time in Chatham. We can’t wait to come back!

Great Location

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Chatham very much! Bonnie was wonderful and contacted us prior to our stay, we were welcomed with all the information on the area as well as some snacks for the kids! Chatham is a very special town in Cape Cod and we are so happy we stayed in such a wonderful location. Mac's is a great restaurant in walking distance, I think we ate there 3 times! The yard was perfect for the kids to run around, and my husband and I enjoyed our morning coffee outside on the deck each morning. If you are there in the summer, be sure to check out the summer baseball league, we enjoyed cheering on the Chatham team on the 4th of July. If you are debating where to stay on the cape, for sure stay in this location, it is by far the best!

Anniversary Celebration

Group of 6 (including 2 toddlers and 1 infant) celebrating parents 40th wedding anniversary. Bonnie’s cape house was just what we hoped for. Location was perfect, had all necessary amenities, and Bonnie was a wonderful host. Definitely recommend and look forward to future stays.

Best location on the Cape

Our favorite thing about this house is the location. Chatham was our favorite town on the Cape and this cozy house is just a few minutes away from the best shopping and restaurants. The house is clean and Bonnie is an excellent host who checked in on us consistently. The street is extremely quiet and safe, and all we heard were crickets chirping. Highly recommend!

Chatham Stay

The communication with the owner was wonderful! She really cares that your check in goes smoothly and that any questions you have during your stay get answered. We appreciated the central air conditioning on warm, humid days. Also, we liked having access to the property's beach chairs and beach umbrella as it was great for our trips to different beaches. End of summer in Chatham

Beautifully appointed traditional cape property close to lots of the things we enjoy about The Cape... Loved the "secret" path to Mac's seafood - many trips to buy the freshest seafood for supper. Also the proximity to Chatham airport for access to the bike path, excellent food at Hangar B and short sightseeing flights... Bonnie was super attentive and responsive to our needs.

Wonderful Cape stay!

Highly recommend this house!

From the beginning the communication was on point and Bonnie went above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed. The house was well stocked, clean and functional for a family of 4 and our boys loved the outdoor shower and playing cars and tag in the backyard. The location was convenient (waking distance) for food and shopping. Oyster Pond Beach and Nantucket Sound beaches were very close and great for young children. Highly recommend and overall a great stay!

Great House / Host

House centrally located. Minutes into town. Minutes to Beach. Host extremely accomodating. Shed well stocked with beach items. No need to bring your own. KIds LOVED outdoor shower. Lots of restaurants nearby both walkable & driveable. Only complaint . . . Needs a wastebasket in laundry to throw away lint. Literally only complaint 😊

Great Location, Great Price!

We did a quick weekend trip and couldn’t be more happy with our stay. The home was clean & quiet and has everything you need like beach chairs, laundry, HVAC, etc, and check-in was seamless. Bonnie is an amazing property manager and made sure we felt at home. The location is perfectly situated - a few minutes walk to Mac’s and Pates, walk to downtown Chatham, easy drive/Uber over to Harwichport and Dennisport, and nice drive up to Nauset & Coast Guard beach, all of which we were able to do comfortably over the weekend. All and all, this is one of the best value stays around Chatham for a small group and a great alternative to the astronomically high summer hotel prices…we’d definitely stay again!

Chatham Vacation

Location was perfect for us! Quiet, nice area to stay. There’s a small back deck to sit and enjoy the weather and stars. Bonnie, the manager, was great to communicate with and very helpful. House was as appeared, You do need to go through the 2nd bedroom to get to the 3rd bedroom. Recommendation to supply toiletries for guests. Great home for small family vacation stay. Thank you

This place was welcoming, clean and peaceful. The location was good—especially the proximity to Mac’s Seafood! So delicious and only a very short walk. We went there several times and never even used the kitchen for anything other than a glass of water and microwaved popcorn! It looked well equipped, though! The property description had mentioned an organic market close by but we couldn’t find it. The bigger beaches are not that far away. One day we drove about 30 minutes to go to Marconi Beach because after arriving at the nearby beach we were told boogie boards were not allowed. But Marconi Beach was beautiful and made up for that initial disappointment! All in all, this property was well cared for with a great back yard and Bonnie, the host, was welcoming and great! Thank you!

Cozy and Quiet

We loved this property for our family vacation for the 4th of July holiday. Our family of four had room to spare. The location is great! A short drive to the shops and baseball field in Chatham and Hardings Beach. The house is also walking distance to Pate’s and Macs two of our favorite places to eat while in Chatham. When staying in to eat the kitchen had plenty of supplies (pots/pans cooking utensils etc.) to cook with. It felt like home! The back deck provided a nice place to enjoy meals outside and the grill was super easy to use. The property has a fairly private side yard and a hammock to use. Perfect for some quiet relaxing time. Both check in and out were simple. The owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and was available for questions throughout the stay. We highly recommend this property and our family will definitely be visiting again!! Thank you Bonnie for making this a great experience for our family!

Great place with a wonderful property manager

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice and well-situated, with easy access to Chatham and surrounding areas. The property manager is the best we have ever worked with, always friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this property.

My mom and dad purchased this home in 1972 when Chatham was a sleepy fishing village. These days there is so much more to see and do--terrific beaches (several for young kids and families), fishing, shopping. My family has been going to Chatham for the Fourth of July festivities for over 30 years. Fun for the whole family!

Small, reasonably-priced and good amenities. Large yard with hammock suitable for great soccer, wiffleball and croquet games.

What makes this property unique

This house is very easy. You can be inside or outside on the deck or in the yard. Walk to the fish market. The house sits atop a little hill and there are nice cool breezes. A flat screen tv with upgraded cable so you can catch all the Red Sox games, too.
