The perfect place for a relaxing stay.

Sandy Feet is a beautifully appointed cottage right in the heart of St Ives. We loved the fact that we could walk to anywhere in the town in just a few minutes. Everything had been thought of, with milk and a bottle of wine left for us on our arrival. Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming place for a break.

Absolutly perfect!

From the moment of the arrivel until the end of the holiday our stay at Sandy Feet was absolutly perfect. The cottage is equiped as never seen before. Modern but cosy with every comfort one could imagine. Even the whitewine and the cornish shortbread for our welcome was delicious! Just the parking situation around the cottage was a nightmare. Once we got a space we decided not to leave again. So we didn't see much instead of St.Ives. The whole region would be good advised to open park and ride spaces out of St. Ives for daytravelers cause nearly everybody is stressed and the behavior of many drivers is more than agressive. Maybe it would help on first sight to rent a permanent parking space for Sandy Feet- Guests.

Perfect for two couples

This is a very well appointed and extremely well located cottage. With two double ensuite bedrooms it is perfect for two couples. The cottage is in a quiet backstreet but a minute or two from the main shopping streets, the harbour and the Tate. It is difficult to think of anything missing from the house that guests might need, and at the time of our stay everything looked so bright and new we thought we might have been its first guests (the visitors book showed we were not!). If we could change one thing it would be that the owners provide a letter box. There was no obvious place for arriving mail to be left, which is a concern when awaiting a forgotten Tate membership card! However, full marks to Alan from So St Ives who pulled out all the stops in trying to track our package down (it did turn up eventually). Visitors do need to be aware that parking (as for many of the central properties) is a five minute walk away up a fairly steep hill and is charged, so this may need to be considered along with the rent (£47 for our one week stay). However, you can't have both quiet, car-free streets, and expect to park outside your front door! All in all, an excellent place to stay, highly recommended.

Photos don’t do it justice! The highest standard..

Photos just didn’t do this justice. It is furnished to the HIGHEST standard. Beautiful kitchen, SMEG range cooker and fridge, designer bathroom, wooden beams and high ceilings! And amidst all that, impeccable clean. We honestly though it had just been done this year. Great place. Would recommend.

The property was immaculate and superbly located

I spent just under two weeks at Sandy Feet, with my wife and two kids (2 and 7 yrs), and I can honestly say we had our most enjoyable family holiday in St Ives there. The property is immaculate, and equipped with every possible pot, pan and utensil you could ever need. The house is cosy, but plenty big enough for a family of 4 in the main house - the 'den' across the courtyard also provides a lovely additional space for older children (and grown ups!) to hang out quietly, and use the playstation / shower / toilet. We also found it very handy for the buggy! The bathrooms and showers are beautifully appointed, and the bedrooms / bedding were all very comfortable and homely. In terms of location, it's perfect too. Just 2 minutes walk from Porthmeor Beach and the Harbour and seconds from Fore Street with all its shops, restaurants and pubs. Alan at So St Ives could not have been more helpful and communicative. Although parking is limited, with a little patience we were able to find a space in the Barnoon long stay car park every time. We fell in love with Sandy Feet, and are sure to be back again. Highly recommended.
