Westgate Lakes provides the idea setting for an unforgettable vacation or business trip with transportation to local theme parks and outlet malls, onsite dining options and a variety of activities, or simply relax and splash around in one of the seven outdoor pools.

Perfect Set UP

I stayed here to attend a conference at the Orange County Convention Center. This was a great spot. Close, beautiful accommodations, great for kids if you want to bring your family, the staff were fantastic, property owner was flexible and super responsive. 0.0 negative things to say. Highly recommend.

Nice property for a reasonable price

Decent property for the money. Convenient, close to everything. Very large property. Wasn't sure where to check in and listing included wifi but instructions weren't provided (had to sign up for Wingate Resort account). Shower and toilet area need a better cleaning. Some kind of splatter on vertical blinds and toilet rocks/not firmly bolted to floor. All in all just a few minor issues. Would stay again.

Great Property

This is my second time staying here. The only issue that we had was the jet tub cut off after 2 minutes each time after getting it restarted. Other than that, it’s always a great experience. It’s located in a great location. Close to stores and restaurants.

Quick Trip

Check in process is a bit slow. Our girls enjoyed themselves and we enjoyed the family chill time a couple of hours away from home. Renovations and upgrades were in progress but did not cause inconvenience. Overall nice stay.

Look elsewhere

The AC quit working during our stay and I had a frustrating experience changing rooms very late at night. I explained the situation to Jake in a message very politely and he didn't even bother to respond. The pool/jacuzzi areas are also not supervised so there were 8-9 years olds splashing around in the jacuzzi until 10 pm.

Had a great time at The Westgate Resort. Will be staying here again. Was very satisfied with this stay. VRBO never contacted us back about rebooking from another home that canceled two days before our trip. Which is very disappointing .The Westgate was very accommodating especially at the last minute.

Great location

We enjoyed our 4 night stay here! Only 2 downsides were; the pullout couch was awful. I definitely wouldn't plan on this being a "bed" for someone. And the timeshare experience sounded like it would be low key but was definitely high pressure. The room, location and customer service was otherwise great.

Great location and better room than a hotel

We enjoyed our stay here. While the check in is kind of crazy, if you have a little patience it’s fine. Room was as described and better than a standard hotel room and cheaper than comparable hotel. We did have to call for assistance with a ceiling fan and it was looked at in a timely manner. There is not free ???? but if you download their app and sign up (free) you get free ???? as well as discounts on various things. We felt the property is well maintained, clean, and felt safe during our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again on future visits to the Orlando area.

The location was perfect if you want to explore Orlando but resort was set up with e everything you need if you want to stay in! Staff was friendly and attentive! Owner was friendly and attentive and even called to make sure we knew the process!! 10/10 recommend! You will not be disappointed! Even the pull out sofa was comfortable 😊

Very Nice

We stayed in the studio which was perfect for my partner and baby. The property is massive and there are many things to do around the resort if you decide to stay at the hotel for a day or two. Our main concern was to have a balcony so we could hang out while the baby slept and worked out well at night because we were able to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the balcony. It was really nice. I would recommend!

Great Resort for Families

This property had everything I was looking for especially traveling with my eight-year-old daughter… water park on grounds… Mini golf and paddle boats… The cost of these activities were extra and not listed in the description… I did ask about hidden costs and mentioned the waterpark specifically and was told there were no hidden costs… when we arrive at the waterpark it’s $20 per person…This was not included!! It’s really not a big deal because she had a blast but I like to know upfront and not be surprised! The resort was beautiful…Would definitely stay here again!
