Garreg Ddu is a mid-terrace cottage situated in the village of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Snowdonia. Hosting two bedrooms; a king-size, and a double, along with a ground floor shower room, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a first floor cloakroom, kitchen, and a sitting room with dining area and wood burning stove. To the outside is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis, and a front patio with seating, along with a rear yard. Resting in a charming location with characterful attractions to explore, Garreg Ddu is a wonderful cottage in a historic part of Wales. Note: Minimum stay of 3 nights. Note: The owner does not accept short breaks between 12 July and 30th August - minimum stay of 7 nights between these dates which must be from Friday to Friday.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Smart TV with Freeview and Netflix, DVD player, WiFi, DVD's selection of books and games. All fuel and power inc. in rent. One complimentary basket of fuel for the wood burning stove. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking and additional layby available on a first come, first served basis. Front patio with seating, enclosed rear yard. Two well-behaved dogs welcome (downstairs only), additional dogs by prior arrangement. Please be mindful, if your circumstances change prior to your arrival, please inform the owner or Sykes if you need to amend pets etc (The owner does provide a welcome pack for your fury friends). The main local attractions include the slate mines where visitors can take fascinating underground trips to see mining as it was done in days gone by - and the famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway which runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Many glorious local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.
