Howard's End was the perfect getaway for us. In the middle of the countryside, yet not too far from local places of interest. And the yummy homemade chocolate cake was enjoyed by all. Thank you so much. xx Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We were looking for peace and quiet in a comfortable property and Howard's End delivered this in spades. Although we only gave 7 for 'Local Amenities' that is exactly how we wanted it to be. To be far and away from the maddening crowds! If you're looking for solitude, peace and tranquility I strongly suggest you book this place. You won't regret it  Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Definitely recommend this.

Definitely recommend this. The land lady and the land lord were very polite and welcoming. The House was very clean with comfortable beds for all. The kitchen is the best area to hang around as it is well lit and roomy. We actually baked a banana bread and were surprised that they had all the necessary kit we needed, even baking paper and brand new mixer. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Howard's End is in a enviable position at the top of a private drive off a country lane in beautiful peaceful countryside. The cottage is surrounded by fields and the pretty farmhouse kitchen looks out on a field full of cows with their calves - just wonderful! We spent a lot of time in the kitchen as it is the heart of this lovely cottage, we cooked there a few times and it was a joy - plenty of space, utensils, crockery etc. The Games cupboard and DVD collection went down a treat with the kids, bedrooms were comfortable as well as a spacious bathroom and a good powerful shower. The utility room was a Godsend for cleaning our muddy boots - loved the original sink! We were blessed with good, dry weather that enabled us to get out and about, we visited Tenbury Wells, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, watched cheese-making in Monkland, Ludlow Castle and done part of the Black and White trail and came across lovely little villages like Pembridge. We had fab fish and chips from Dimarcos, Leominster and a lovely pub meal at The Fountain - we'll be back!

This cottage is in a lovely part of the countryside.

This cottage is in a lovely part of the countryside. It is extremely well equipped, even a food mixer and sandwich maker. Plentiful crockery and saucepans. Large kitchen/diner with double oven (electric and 8 gas hob. Very big bedrooms, one double and the second has two singles. the living room is very comfortable and there are tv’s in every room. Very nice and helpful host, although their property is next door Howard’s End is very private with a large sitting out area that leads to the fields, you can walk around these fields. The nearest shops are at Leominster and Ludlow and a little further s Hereford town. We spent a lovely week there and enjoyed the September sunshine.

Wonderfully quiet and peaceful, a real home from home. We loved watching the wildlife from the kitchen doors, especially the bickering squirrels on the bird feeders and also the breakfast visit from a spectacular male pheasant. A lovely time was had by all, just wished it was for longer.

The cottage was excellent with everything thought about and comfort being a priority. Very quiet location. Good local walking and local attractions - gardens, NT properties. A good central point for visiting Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Shropshire. An excellent location for a visit to the Malvern flower show.

The cottage was beautiful and very spacious.

The cottage was beautiful and very spacious. Everything we needed from washing powder to condiments. Would be great for a family as the owners provided a game cupboard, plenty of dvds and there is even a little tree swing. On arrival we found the owner had baked us a cake which was such a lovely gesture. Easy to find and not too far from local towns, shops and pubs. We all loved the cottage and would stay again

You would go a long way to find a more perfect holiday cottage than Howard's End! It is literally the perfect getaway. From the minute we walk through the door we have everything we need in the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, utility room etc! Everything has been thought of down to the smallest detail so all we have to do is unpack and relax for however long we are here for, this time it was 2 weeks of doing totally nothing but chilling out! We have stayed here a few times and always look forward to going back. If you haven't been to this part of the country before then the cottage is perfectly located for visiting Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire or even wales and the wye valley is not that far.
