We really loved staying in The Tack Room.

We really loved staying in The Tack Room. Had everything we needed for a family of 4. It was beautifully quiet & peaceful. The children loved seeing the horses as well. This is a beautiful part of the country that we’d never thought to visit before. There are no amenities in a walkable distance, but shops are only about a 10 minute drive away so just need a bit of forward planning. Would happily stay again. Out of the way location so no chance of forgetting the milk! No shops in walking distance quiet area

Out of the way location so no chance of forgetting the milk! No shops in walking distance quiet area. Fairly clean generally but a few cobwebs high up. Everything you need provided. Maybe a second tv if you have children. Nice friendly staff. No play area for children but didn't bother us as we don't have any.

Well done conversion of these farm buildings.

Well done conversion of these farm buildings. Attractive, peaceful & very relaxing. Good location for exploring Lincolnshire Wolds, coast and Lincoln. Great for wildlife enthusiasts. Horncastle only 10 mins away and offers pretty much all you might need. Several very good restaurants, pubs etc for eating and book and antique shops aplenty. Lots to do in the area for couples and families. The Tack room has reasonably good mobile signal and free WiFi. Very clean. Some of the furniture could do with upgrading and perhaps black out blinds in the bedrooms. Both bedrooms en-suite. Very good shower. Would book here again.

A nice well maintained property which was very clean.

A nice well maintained property which was very clean. The caretaker was very helpful in responding to our difficulties with the hot water and answering general queries. However, despite adjusting the setting the water heated on the overnight setting even with the boaster used in the day didn't keep sufficient water hot. After two showers the water for the day had run out. For the price of the accommodation I would expect hot water on arrival and as required throughout the stay. Otherwise very pleasant accommodation with friendly/helpful assistance on site.
