We very much enjoyed our stay in Einich, a much needed break after lockdown. The house is spacious and in a great area for exploring the cairngorms. Lovely views from the house and a very peaceful area. Very well equipped kitchen, everything you would need. Owner and housekeeper very quick to respond to any questions. Sofas are a bit tired that would be my only suggested improvement! We would definitely stay again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely house

We had a lovely stay here in the Einich. The couple of things that let it down were some small housekeeping issues. They didn't detract from our stay as we rectified them quickly. Just some build up of dust, some of the kitchen ware was dirty, sink plugs dirty and bins in bathrooms hadn't been emptied. However the house didn't feel dirty at all, just a few things missed. In general it was a lovely house, fully stocked with all you needed. It was warm, welcoming and cosy. It was deceptive in that it said that it was dog friendly but didn't expli

I would like to say that my overall stay at this property was superb.

I would like to say that my overall stay at this property was superb. The property is in a fantastic area and with local amenities all found within a 5-10 minute walk. The property itself is of an exceptional standard and more than ample amounts of room and the grounds surrounding the property being more than sufficient with plenty of parking for 2-4 vehicles. The bedrooms and furniture were of good comfort and each bedroom being very large. The views from the study on the first floor of the golf course and the mountains were fantastic. The kitchen and dining areas wee more than large enough to accommodate my family of 6 and was well equipped. The furniture in the house provided the property with a rustic feel that taken us away from norm and allowed us to completely switch off from our normal life and enjoy our holiday. Me and family are looking to book the same property next year as the property is situated near plenty of walk and mountain bike trails and so if any family wants long walks or are keen cyclist then trails are plentiful. I spoken with the owners and staff for the property and they were both welcoming and accommodating regarding our stay and were very helpful. The property was spotless and the owners had been keen to adhere to all covid 19 regulations and ensured thing were in place to ensure our stay was safe. We enjoyed a great family holiday at Einich, with 3 generations of extended family together at the same time. There was plenty of room for all, and the facilities were great. The extra fridge freezer in the utility room meant all our food and drinks were able to fit in. The kitchen was definitely the place to be, although it felt a wee bit crowded when we were all there and people were cooking. We did enjoy lingering at the table over our meals, and the older family members enjoyed being able to watch all the comings and goings. Beds were comfy, rooms were spacious and 2 bathrooms plus cloakroom meant there was always a toilet free. Plus points : peaceful location but with great local ammenities and loads to do round about. Could be improved : full set of wine glasses and highballs for our g&t's (that is really picky, there wasn't a single thing we looked for that wasn't there). Loved it.

Fabulous holiday was had at Einich with its great space which was something of a luxury in itself to all of us. The garden was great for us and our dog's tail never stopped wagging with all the freedom offered and a well presented traditional house with a beautiful setting to wake up in. Only a more pretencious and needy person could ever find fault with. Highly recommended with the owner and the lady who tends to the house being very helpul in their efforts making sure all was well with our stay. Thanks

We had a very comfortable stay at Einich house, and loved the location and the views from the front of the house over the Cairngorms. Great size house for a family on a quiet road, but a couple of minutes walk to the main street with a useful Co-op. Communication with the owner was great too. We even saw a red squirrel from the kitchen window one day, and every day there were wild rabbits in the garden. We stayed fairly local during our stay. We recommend activities at the Rothiemurcus estate, Landmark Adventure park, Cairngorm mountain plus the hill walk with the reindeer herd. Also the Highland wildlife park, and the Wildcat 10k circular walk around Newtonmore, especially the upper section. We were lucky with the weather, especially as it was windy all week so no midges! We would definitely choose to stay there again if we are on holiday in the Cairngorms. Thank you!

The house was perfect for our holiday in the Cairngorms. The location is perfect for walking and it is a real bonus to have shops, a pub and restaurant a short walk away. As the weather was good we spent a lot of evenings in the garden too.

Fabulous property set in the Cairngorms National Park, conveniently located with excellent views.

Fabulous property set in the Cairngorms National Park, conveniently located with excellent views. The house was clean and well stocked with an unexpected welcome pack that included cake, eggs, milk, tea, coffee and sugar and made us feel very welcome indeed. The house was warm with very good facilities and is extremely spacious, with 4 large bedrooms, dining kitchen, separate dining room and a comfortable lounge. My only small niggle was the extremely hard “cement like” memory foam pillows in all 4 bedrooms, fortunately there were some softer ones as well but not enough!! But other than that it was perfect and met the needs of all six adults in our party. Loch Imrich was a hidden gem and well worth a visit and is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The local Co-Op is only a 3 minute drive away and stocks the basics. I would have no hesitation in recommending Einich to others and will be visiting again.
