A perfect holiday home for groups of friends or an extended family, to enjoy the ambience of a village style seaside resort in either summer or winter. Broadstairs, named after the “broad stairs” carved in the cliff that led from the sands to the 12th century shrine of St Mary, boasts seven beaches, three of which are holders of the coveted 2010 Blue flag Award presented to Europe’s top coastal destinations. Ron’s House overlooks one such award winning beach - the quiet sandy “Stone Bay” offering 200 metres of golden sand, rock pools and a promenade. The property has some wonderful sea views, the kitchen/breakfast room has been fully renovated in 2022 and the bathroom in 2021 making this an amazing place to spend your holidays!.
Broadstairs popular Folk Week Festival runs annually in August, and if you’re visiting Broadstairs with teenagers then Revolution Skate Park which operates out of Viking Bay is well worth a visit. There are also climbing and BMX sessions available. For walkers and cyclists alike, join the Thanet Coast Viking Trail – part of route 15 of the National Cycle Trail, and no trip to Broadstairs would be complete without a visit to a seafront ice cream parlour and watching the dazzling fireworks on a summer evening. Shop, pubs and restaurants 1/4 mile.

Ron’s House Broadstairs

We loved this house, which we booked for our Golden Wedding with all our family. The breakfast room was stunning and a wonderful space, also the new bathrooms. The welcome basket was a lovely gesture on the part of the owner. The position is second to none! We shall be back!

As a family from the Netherlands we’ve been going to England in spring for many years, so we’ve seen many holiday homes. One house is more beautiful than the other. We’ve experienced disappointments and positive surprises. The house that we were able to rent this year (Ron’s House) puts all previous ones behind. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised, beautiful house, beautifully maintained garden, Entering the house there was in the kitchen a welcome package everything was available to prepare meals for 10. First and second floor excellent beds in clean rooms. Last but not least the location, views right on the beach. Center of Broadstairs within walking distance with its restaurants and pubs. In short a big compliment to the owner.

Lovely large house on the sea front.

This large 5 bed house was just right for an extended family holiday by the sea. A lovely sandy beach just across the road and Broadstairs town centre a short walk away. Our family loved the games room and the view from the windows at the front of the house. The owner and his agent were both very friendly and helpful. We have already booked it again for next year. Ideal location for families where there is a range of ages. Loads of toilets! Car parking is excellent. Well equipped to cater for 10 It is expensive but the space means that everyone has room to do their own thing- the garden is great and the patio furniture allows for alfresco meals. We had a lovely few days at rons house. The house could be stunning but needs renovating and decorating. Needs new furniture in bedrooms on first floor.and balcony needs new furniture and renovating .. we didnt use the balcony. It overlooks the sea.. Perfect setting and position. Short walk into town. House is good for a large family... its homely and comfortable not luxurious!!!. Beds all clean. Top floor has been decorated and has 2 nice sea facing doubles. 1 twin at back shower room and toilet sink. 1st floor has 1 sea facing double 1 twin at back. Toilet... bathroom. Large sea facing comfortable lounge. A large table and chairs. Lots of nice pictures on walls. Dresser with books. Further table and chairs off kitchen. Small games room . Toilet. Kitchen has everthing u need except a toaster. Needs window looking onto garden cleaned!!! Nice garden back and front. It needed cutting and weeding . Allister sent someone to cut grass. Small lean to with sofa and 2 chairs. Garden is a suntrap in afternoon. All in all a lovely house in need of tlc.

Good house spaces downstairs especially, convenient for beach, excellent garden for playing in and we love Broadstairs. Our only whinge is that it would really help those of a certain age or who have difficulty with balance to have non-slip mats in bath/showers and a grab rail! Thank you. We hope to be there again.

This house is ideal for a family group. It is across the road from the beach and near a variety of amenities. It has room and amenities for all ages and a garden. The property manager is helpful, informative and supportive, coping admirably with all requests. It is expensive in the high season but worth it to my family.

We have no hesitation in recommending Ron's house for a stay by a family or group in this area.

We have no hesitation in recommending Ron's house for a stay by a family or group in this area. There are plenty of showers and toilets for the capacity of the house (10) The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are well decorated with comfortable beds. The lounge with seaviews and the dining room are huge and well appointed. The breakfast room is darker, but we used it as an office during our stay. It provided a work area away from the rest of the group - excellent. The dog enjoyed the beach just across the road. The town is a few minutes walk along the coastal path. the butcher's and baker's shops are first rate and the Italian restaurant is the best I have eaten in outside of Italy. The agent, Alistair is a star and saw to our every need promptly and courteously.
