Amazing water front beach home with elevator for every day use!

This charming beach cottage is located directly on the calm waters of Santa Rosa Sound with the sugar sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico just steps away. This family beach home features a gourmet kitchen with dual fuel gas cooktop/electric oven, Microwave wall oven combo, lots of counterspace for food prep and serving. Kitchen offers a breakfast bar which can also serve as a wet bar for cocktails including a under-counter ice machine. Adding to the ambience is open beamed ceiling throughout the house and porches. There is segmented central air for each area for optimal temperature control. On the water side of home is a screened- in porch with dining table for enjoying morning coffee at sunrise or al fresco dining at sunset. This is also a peaceful area to relax on sectional sofa or chaise lounges while enjoying some summer reading.

The underside of home offers plenty of auto parking and seating for family gatherings, games and outdoor cooking. Waterside large deck is great for sunbathing or dolphin spotting with dual sided steps leading into water. This quiet water is so appealing for lounging on water floats and offers optimal water play for small children. There are two pilings available for tying up to watercraft. Bicycles are available for use, portable air pump on site. Outdoor cooking includes a new propane grill, propane smoker, and propane crab boil equipment.

Feels like Grandmas House!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is so well equipped. It has everything you can even imagine you might need. The lift was so convenient and useful for all the heavy and bulky stuff you bring on vacation. House was so comfortable and inviting. There’s plenty of seating in every room and below the house too. Love the location on the Bay! We enjoyed the back porch, even though it was a bit warm in the afternoons. The only suggestion I would make would be to have HVAC registers adjusted so airflow to all bedrooms get same amount of air. Some rooms were warm and some cold. We would love to return to this house for another stay.

Rental company upgraded us to bigger house & sound side waterfront at same price for original 2 bdrm rental when not available due to unexpected maintenance. Screened in back porch perfect place for pets to stay in. Front bushes/shrubs need to be trimmed way back for safe viewing access of road & to avoid scratching car. Be very careful backing out to avoid hitting palm trees next to driveway.

The layout was right on with the description and photos provided. The AC was not working properly on arrival and the maintenance crew responded quickly and got it working order right away. There were a few kinks in the house like plumbing issues, but overall it is a great space!! Loved that the house had two refrigerators and a separate ice maker.

our family vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We couldn't have asked for better weather or location for our family's get together. We all live in different areas of the US and this was our time to regroup. The rental was spacious and comfortable for all of us-regardless of age and needs. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the neighborhood was quiet. Being directly on the water was a plus. In the evening you got the music and sounds from the restaurant and bars down the sound, however it was not overwhelming and while inside you couldn't hear them. We used the grill and downstairs sitting area a lot. The management company was wonderful and helpful. We will use Paradise again. Our regroup vacation was a huge success and will not be forgotten. The property is not brand new but was comfortable and relaxing. We felt the property was not cleaned as well as it could have been but certainly not anything that caused any concern or needs to call the management .Previous visitor was a smoker that wore red lipstick and she left all her cigarette butts in the potted plants on the property and on coffee mugs in the kitchen cabinet :( . Also, with a large group as we had, an additional roll or 2 of toilet paper needs to be brought with you as it is not supplied in the home. All bathrooms had already opened rolls in them and they did not last through the week. Our family will look to this company for our next family get together.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our family's second stay at this house. We love the beach and sound access. The house was less cluttered this year than last however there is so much stuff in the home it is easy to lose track of your own items. Also one of the bedroom doors does not shut which was problematic because we were traveling with small children. The drawers are filled with junk, there are many areas covered in dust I think because the cleaning crew simply can't access all of the areas. The dishwasher stopped working and the management company was unable to fix it. Several of our family members were cut pretty badly from the poorly maintained stairs leading into the water. All in all we had a great vacation but I think we will likely look for another house next year.

The House is a little "tired", but, overall is kept up pretty well. If the family would ever like to sell this, we would like to work out a plan with them for our ministry. This would be a great getaway for any of our people.
