We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle Dairy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Castle Dairy. It is furnished very well and is comfortable and cosy. There is a large king sized bed in the bedroom, a modern and stylish kitchen and bathroom. Wifi and Netflix are available for nights in and a small courtyard where we sat out and had a nice drink in the evening. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This was an ideal base for visiting Fife, both coast and inland. The cottage is perfect for two and the owner is very approachable and helpful. Good shops in Cupar for supplies plus Spar in Ceres.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful village.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful village. Folk museum just few hundred yards away. Well worth a visit. Everyone we met in the shops and cafes were very friendly and helpful. Cottage had everything you need. The sofa was very low and soft which was the only thing that was inconvenient as I am disabled Will definitely be back

Ceres is a base for St Andrews and Fife, not an end in itself as it's too small.

Ceres is a base for St Andrews and Fife, not an end in itself as it's too small. It's still a lovely place after 50 years of knowing it. The cottage was well fitted out and light, with parking available and I do not have a bad word to say about it. The local supermarket was well stocked but sad to see Meldrums pub and restaurant shuttered, we had looked forward to going there. St Andrews thrives and is utterly beautiful always but has become so busy that it was relaxing to be an easy fifteen minute drive away.

We would highly recommend this cottage.

We would highly recommend this cottage. It provided a great choice of entertainment selection. Great for adults and children. Plenty of information regarding eating out, takeaways and instruction manuals on the equipment provided in the accommodation and a drawer full of information of walks etc. Extremely impressed.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Superbly and thoughtfully equipped, everything of a high standard. Well-located for exploring Fife and further afield, although Ceres itself does not offer many amenities apart from a pub (food only on Fridays & Saturdays while we were there), tea room and Spar.

This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful little village.

This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful little village. Only one shop in the village but less than 3 miles from Cupar with supermarkets for anything you need. The cottage is no more than 10 miles from all the East Neuk attractions. If you have dogs it's a great location - a small park across the road and a rural walk up Craighall Den a minute from your gate. The cottage is one of the best equipped I have ever spent time in, lots of thought to what you might need and never once thought I needed something that wasn't already there. Completely over exceeded my "as long as it's clean" expectations. A very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend. The locals in the only pub are really friendly people.

Was a generally ok cottage, but quite unclean.

Was a generally ok cottage, but quite unclean. There were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, and the floors had bits of food scattered about them, which wasn't very pleasant. Could have done with some basics e.g. scissors in the kitchen. Shower temperamental and often either too hot or too cold. Other than that, nice space, nice outdoor area and modern enough.

Ceres is a pleasant village, well situated to visit attractions in East Neuk and beyond.

Ceres is a pleasant village, well situated to visit attractions in East Neuk and beyond. The Castle Dairy’s location within the village is unremarkable. Inside, the accommodation was sparklingly clean. The decor is to the owner’s taste, presumably - amusing in part. The layout is convenient and most essentials are to hand. The sofa is awful, being so low and unsupportive. Thank goodness for the upholstered dining chairs! At winter season prices, the rental is very good value. Our rating for “comfort and equipment” would have been 10 were it not for the sofa.
