Just fab!

This stay exceeded our expectations. It is both comfortable and well equipped but also a great location with access across the Common to beaches as well as the Coast Path. A great find!

We had a fantastic honeymoon at The Old Stable.

We had a fantastic honeymoon at The Old Stable. Geoff was a friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable host. On first impressions, the cottage is seemingly in the middle of nowhere, down a concrete track behind a sheep field, which was quiet, private and perfect. It's easy to get to, and well located to travel around all of Cornwall (we managed 900 miles in a week!). The cottage itself was cosy, warm, quiet and very well equipped. All of the cooking utensils, cooked and cutlery were of a high quality, felt like it was a home from home. The shower was fantastic. The only slight downside were the sofa and bed (as mentioned in other reviews), but they were good enough. The location, for local walks to Polly Joke beach (where there's seals!), Cubert, Holywell bay, West Pentire, Perranporth and Crantock. All easy walks, and start just up the concrete path from the cottage near the golf club. Geoff can advise you on these and the best pubs to visit! The Bowgie Inn at West Pentire was our favourite. The cottage was very clean and tidy and had plenty of equipment and came with lovely new towels in the bathroom. The sofa in the lounge area could do with being updated as it was rather lumpy but apart from that it is a good place to stay as we know the area very well. We would have liked to invite our family to come over for a meal but that was not encouraged by the homeowners. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
