A lot of comments about Little Knott are about cleanliness, lack of a big Smeg fridge freezer and no giant wall mounted flat screen telly. There's no maid, butler or silver service either. But this is a fantastic cottage for walkers who aren't looking for a cream carpet and an atrium. It's a basic cottage with a fantastic big communal room in a beautiful location. I've stayed here ten times over the last decade and I can't wait to get back.

Lovely 17th century cottage
Lovely cottage, great location. Great well stocked kitchen for cooking etc. Lovely bottle of wine on arrival and lots of reviews dating back 30 years! Only downside was the pay as you go meter for electricity. Drains quickly when using electric heaters in rooms In winter. Upstairs is lovely and warm with the open fire but sadly doesn’t heat the bedrooms downstairs. Would definitely return though. A great price.
