Photos don’t do cottage justice

We were surprised at how nice the cottage was on arrival. It was modern and we loved the high ceiling in the open plan kitchen. This made it feel more spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. It was very well located to main roads but still had a country feel as it faced onto a church and fields. We really liked the shower as it was powerful. Underfloor heating in the shower room was a bonus as was being able to take the dog.

I stayed at Rose Cottage in order to house hunt in Brighton, and it was perfectly positioned for that. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed - everything you need is available and it's clean and welcoming. I wouldn't want a longer stay because the garden is small (I have dogs) and you need a car to walk anywhere nice. Quite noisy for traffic, although that didn't bother me particularly. St Andrews Church is still in use and worth a visit. The blackberries in the lane are excellent! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Nicely placed for days out around the area, lovely view of old village church from front, down a quiet lane so plenty of on road parking. Properly enclosed back garden so great for dogs. Nicely furnished and decorated interior, good shower and very comfortable beds. Very good value. Only downside for us was traffic noise from main road behind the back garden, but we live in a very quiet partof Wales so may be too noise conscious.

We had a very good holiday over all.

We had a very good holiday over all. The cottage was well placed to get to anywhere along the coast or indeed inland. The road outside was a little noisy but didn't keep us awake. Cottage well equipped for all our needs.
