Seasong was an absolute delight and the perfect place for my husband and I to enjoy and celebrate our 25th Silver wedding anniversary. It was an oasis of calm with beautiful surroundings, a charming garden and very friendly village shop and ‘crab shack’. Thank you so much for making our first visit to the Norfolk coast such a wonderful memory - we will definitely be returning, there is so much to do and so many more places to visit!

Location, location, location...

Superbly positioned little property. Essentials (pub, shop, Cookies crab shop, church with art exhibition(!)) all within easy walking distance. Well equipped within the property. Supremely quiet with proper dark night skies. Had a small problem with the smoke alarm but that got sorted very quickly. Recommended.

Great week

Difficult to complain about anything. Everything was as it should be, however there were three niggles. We couldn't adjust the very, very hot shower, the very, very quiet TV volume (impossible to hear when next door put on their washing machine - as they did frequently) or open the living room windows (for fear of breaking the frame). These were minor and could, I'm sure, be dealt with. Otherwise the cottage was in a great position in the village with its Crab shop, village shop and pub: there are walks from the front door and numerous houses and Gardens to visit, never short of anything to do.

We loved our week here in December.

We loved our week here in December. Its a beautiful little cottage hideaway, perfectly located for exploring the North Norfolk area. We ate at 3 different pubs, one only a stones throw away and being less than half a mile from a beautiful and secluded beach, an absolutely perfect break. I really want to live here now!! We had a lovely stay at Seasong over the Christmas week.

We had a lovely stay at Seasong over the Christmas week. - thank you for the Christmas tree and decorations! The cottage is well located and we enjoyed exploring the coast in spite of some bad weather at times. Thankfully we were able to eat out on a couple of occasions - The nearby Dun Cow, and Wells Crabhouse Seafood restaurant, before the area fell under Tier 4 restrictions (fortunately at the end of our holiday). The cottage itself is very clean and cosy and we liked the simplistic style. The bed was of perfect firmness for us and has inspired us to upgrade our own mattress. I suppose the only thing that was a bit on the negative side was the gate as it was a struggle to open it at times to the point that we didn't allow it to slam close anymore incase we couldn't get it open again. Also, I am not sure that the main oven works - I tried it a few times but it never heated up, so I used the top oven to cook the turkey and staggered cooking the Christmas dinner over several hours. Overall a great week away which was much needed, however I think staying in warmer months would probably make it even better to avoid the bitterly cold winds and make use of the secluded garden. Seasong was a lovely cosy little house, perfect for a couple.

Seasong was a lovely cosy little house, perfect for a couple. Great location with a wonderful village shop and great pub a few minutes walk away. Lots of great walks from the house without needing to drive anywhere and wonderful for birdwatchers. Very clean. Lovely bedding and towels, although the bed was a little hard for our taste (on a pallet base). Warm and cosy cottage. Adequately equipped kitchen although dishwasher didnt work very well. Good shower. Lovely to find wine, bread, tea, coffee etc provided (although a bit sad to realise the milk was out of date the day after we arrived). Would live to visit again in the summer to make use of the outside sitting space. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Seasong was perhaps the most beautiful holiday cottage we’ve ever stayed in.

Seasong was perhaps the most beautiful holiday cottage we’ve ever stayed in. In the most spectacular village - Salthouse - Seasong is cosy, comfortable, stylish, and just about perfect in every way. You’re minutes away from the sea, the marshes, open countryside, the pub, and the shop. It’s so quiet and so beautifully dark at nighttime. The cottage itself has all you could need and is decorated and furnished with taste; it’s both rustic and chic. We do hope to be back - and wouldn’t have left if we didn’t have too!

Absolutely beautiful, perfect location for us, as we wanted to be in walking distance of the beach.

Absolutely beautiful, perfect location for us, as we wanted to be in walking distance of the beach. The interior and little garden were exquisite and so thoughtfully, beautifully , furnished, And decorated. Fell in love at first sight. However the shower system seemed a little disappointing (eco water system I know, so not complaining too much). That said it would not deter Just low water pressure. Plenty of hot water to the kitchen. Even a little dishwasher and washing machine! And certainly enough towels that were dry and toasty each morning. (October). The Salthouse stores and pub gave it a village feel - thank you! We will be back

Generally excellent and clean, just the odd cobweb so nine rather than ten.

Generally excellent and clean, just the odd cobweb so nine rather than ten. Water very/too hot so had to take care when using and keep shower on coldest setting but otherwise very comfortable, good quality furniture and stylish. The cottage is very quiet and private. The bedroom looks out on to the garden which you have sole access to whilst the kitchen/dining area looks on to another garden area which you do not have access to. We decided it must belong to the owners who perhaps live next door. We never saw anyone in this area but it would be helpful if the owners confirmed what the set up is. The local pub serves great beer and food. There is also local shop selling most things you might need. Easy flat walk to sea and great cycling in quiet lanes.

Beautiful, comfortable, quirky cottage in the perfect location.

Beautiful, comfortable, quirky cottage in the perfect location. Quiet, yet in easy reach of amenities. The Dun Cow does wonderful food - a good tip is to visit mid-afternoon to avoid busy times. Great coffee is available from The Village Store, and a visit to Cookie’s is a foregone conclusion. We’d really recommend a visit to the church - full of interesting history. We can’t wait to visit again.

Cozy and comfortable - everything you need or desire for a coastal hideaway. Stylishly appointed, well stocked and immaculately clean, with thoughtful touches like the welcome loaf of locally baked bread and a jug of milk in the fridge. We especially enjoyed the large wood burning stove and crisp white duvet.

Seasong is a very comfortable cottage in a marvellous location by the saltmarshes teeming with wildlife. The weather was ideal for walking and we walked miles along the coastline every day. The cottage has many charming features , including a secluded garden full of birdsong, and two full length sofas to recline on at the end of a long day's walking. There are lots of interesting things to see and do directly from the cottage

Cottage is lovely but with a few things we didn’t like, considering the price: No change of towels Not enough toilet roll No toiletries for the shower No means to clean floors Windows very hard to open French windows permanently locked Gate latch hurts fingers - too close to door jamb Too much shade in overgrown garden Butter from welcome pack was off Heating not adjustable No central lighting, but lots of little lights in wrong places No recycling facilities

Seasong is the ideal retreat from a busy world.

Seasong is the ideal retreat from a busy world. The calming interior, lovely design details and well equipped facilities are a joy. The private secluded garden adds to the overall feeling of well being. Seasong has the marshes, beach and country lanes to enjoy on foot. Further afield are gorgeous towns and villages. Provisions are available from the friendly local shop. I cannot recommend Seasong cottage highly enough. This is my second visit, with more to follow!
