What a lovely little cottage this was.

What a lovely little cottage this was. Set just outside of Tintagel (only 3/4 mile walk in) it was perfectly situated to walk to the restaurants in Tintagel in the evening and use as a base to explore the North of Cornwall. Warm, cosy and comfortable. I have deducted two stars for 'equipment' as the kitchen equipment could have been better in order to cook some evenings, there were only hand towels provided in the bathroom and there was no wifi, which in this day and age I would have expected as standard. Overall though a brilliant stay and I would definitely recommend it for a couple. There is a single bed and a cot (under the double bed) so it would also suit a young family. The cottage was delightful.

The cottage was delightful. Although not the most modern in terms of fit out, it was still all there and very comfortable. It provided a lovely location to explore the north Cornish coast and indeed on some days a lovely spot to huddle in to during the stormy weather. It is just half a mile from Tintagel, so a nice slightly isolated spot but with easy access to the local 'town". Would heartedly recommend. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

For comfort and equipment we can only rate a 6.

For comfort and equipment we can only rate a 6. The living room chairs were quite uncomfortable. The freezer door was broken and the DVD player in the tv didn’t work.
