This is a lovely little cottage in a pretty village.

This is a lovely little cottage in a pretty village. It has a spacious upstairs living area, with good furniture and furnishings. Everything is explained well in the information folder. The owner Debbie is extremely friendly and responsive - when we had trouble getting the heating to work (it was an unexpected cold snap for the time of year) - she immediately asked her handyman to call and he sorted it out quickly. I suggested that they could do with a few more items of kitchen equipment and she asked me for details and obtained them. The local amenities are what you would expect in a small village, with an excellent fish and chip shop, reasonable size supermarket, and plenty of choices of meals out within a medium walk or short drive. We would recommend the Railway Inn. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely Little Cottage.

Lovely Little Cottage. Is an Upside down house with bedroom downstairs and stairs to open kitchen/Lounge. TV in bedroom and lounge. Was worried about this when arrived as Hubby is disabled but he had no problem with stairs. In evening we watched TV in bedroom so hubby did not need to go up and down stairs. Worked well for dog as we left the door open to the garden which is small but secure. Only downside was bed is a small double and hubby is a big lad size 8XL so a bit of a tight squeeze for him. Nice wood and bridle path near to cottage to walk the dog. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We really enjoyed our break in this charming little cottage.

We really enjoyed our break in this charming little cottage. The furnishings were tasteful and homely. The living area being upstairs works well as it was very warm whilst the bedroom downstairs was suitably cooler. The location in Docking suited us well. A cute cottage in a delightful corner of Docking.

A cute cottage in a delightful corner of Docking. Quiet but convenient for major tourist routes in the area. Sleeping downstairs was interesting but ok, apart from the limited access to the bed on one side with potential for bumps and bruises on the way to the loo. Bed was fine otherwise. Quite a lot of little notices to guests.... Kitchen equipment was basic, cutlery just about adequate. Overall, we were happy. Nice hot water.....

a reasonably clean and pleasant place in a quite backwater.

a reasonably clean and pleasant place in a quite backwater. just what we wanted, the fact its an upside down house gave some problems because my wife and I have walking difficulty so we had to negotiate the stairs more often. we will be more choosey next time, because it didn't state its upside down and not really suitable for disabled I give 8 out of 10,
