Cottage is very well presented and lots of handy food basics provided.
Cottage is very well presented and lots of handy food basics provided. Owner could not be more helpful or accessible. If you have a dog you should be aware that the garden is not totally secure, so need to keep watch! Cars fly down the road from the village so need to be very careful backing in or out of the cottage. Also, if pub within walking distance is an important issue for you then suggest you check first - the village pub in Tetford has been closed since March. A sad sign of the times. We loved staying at the Shepherd's Bothy.
We loved staying at the Shepherd's Bothy. The view from the garden and the tranquillity makes you feel really relaxed. Our dog really loved the enclosed garden and it felt really safe for her. James had left a lovely welcome pack for us that was really appreciated thank you. I would definitely go back and stay for longer it was that good.
