A lovely little cottage
We were warmly welcomed and appreciated the Welsh cakes and rose wine left for us in the kitchen. Even though the owners are next door, we felt as though we were completely secluded. We ate dinner outside in the garden or on the balcony every day. We slept so soundly as it was so peaceful. The hot tub was in its own little house, again private, perfect when it was raining. The staircase is a little awkward as it is steep but we are really quibbling. Just be careful if you have a mobility issue. We loved our stay, and left with our batteries fully recharged. Thank you

Lovely little gem
We stayed in Salem Fach for a whole week and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. First we were inspired by Anglesey’s scenery and then by this lovely little cottage. In every room you could enjoy either the most beautiful sunrises or the perfect sunsets. You can go out for wonderful hikes or you drive a bit to see awesome coastlines with beautiful beaches. And even Snowdonia is just an hour away. The cottage is small, but it offers everything you need. And the hot tub is an incredible bonus. The only thing we didn’t enjoy much were the showers. So if you don’t mind driving 20 to 30 Minutes to the nearest amenities (we didn’t mind at all) this is the perfect place.

Salem Fach is perfect.
Salem Fach is perfect. We will be returning and thoroughly recommend it. Comfortably furnished with great attention to details. Hot tub a blissful luxury for being indulgent and lazy or simply to unwind after walking miles of beautiful scenery. 180 degree views including a view of the sea. The owners are amazing hosts readily available for any help but maintaining a valuable sense of privacy. Please note we only scored 7 out of 10 for amenities cos it is not the sort of place where there can be any e.g leisure centres, golf, and amenities can be pretty subjective. If amenities include great views and access to a coastal path then it would be a 10. Diolch Anna and Matthew. See you again! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Great place to go for a rural getaway. Stuff ya face with chocolate whilst watching Christmas movies with views of the hills in front of you. Once done lounge in the hot tub with a nice beer again with views of the hills. Pure Bliss

Great cottage - like a home from home.
Great cottage - like a home from home. Looks exactly as it does on the photos. If you want peace and quiet this place is ideal. Lots of places to go for walks, including to the sea, which was about a 30-40 min walk for us (two adults and 10 yr old). The kitchen has everything you could possibly need; pots, pans, cutlery, dishware, utensils, white goods, tea towels, cleaning products etc. The double bedroom was bigger than expected, with added storage in the form of a small walk in closet. The second bedroom was great - loads of storage, CD player, couch, balcony, great views. The living room is open plan but cosy, especially with the small fireplace glowing during the dark nights :) The Sky Movies package was great and there is a great stock of games available for use. We took our own blankets, games and DVDs, but we really didn't need to - everything was provided for us. The owners were great - we had a couple of mishaps while we were there (nothing to do with the owners!) but they were on hand to help any way they could. They couldn't have been more helpful and we were really grateful for everything they did for us.

Excellent little cottage, perfect size for two.
Excellent little cottage, perfect size for two. Owners live adjoining but both work so plenty of privacy. We didnt see them at all during our stay but they were only a text away if we needed anything. Hot tub is perfect with stunning views and plenty of privacy. Owners are conscious to close their curtains and I did not feel uncomfortable walking back to the cottage. Well equipped with plenty of towels, cooking equipment... Sky movies is a bonus. The cottage really is secluded with the nearest equipped village being 10 minute drive. We didnt mind this though. Plenty of nature and farming culture to observe. So peaceful and just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Would love to return in the future.

Had a little girly weekend with my friend and we loved it here.
Had a little girly weekend with my friend and we loved it here. We felt so chilled and relaxed. Property is attached to owners house, so are on hand should you need anything. Cottage is quaint with all you need. Comfortable too. Matthew and Anna helped us with our bags when we arrived and then left us to it, unless we needed them. Little single room was mine for the weekend and I loved it, especially the little balcony. The window seat was a big hit with my friend when having her morning brew! Full sky movies helped on the rainy day and we took plenty of DVD’s too. Hot tub was amazing. Undercover so could still use in the rain. View from there was just perfect. Lots to do in the area, you just need to drive to places. We visited South Stack Lighthouse and it was so beautiful there. Well worth the 30 min drive. All in all we loved our stay and we will definitely be going back! Loved this place so much!

Cottage was clean and cosy.
Cottage was clean and cosy. Very cold in lounge.. Porch door gap around allowing air in.. It was very windy whilst there which made this worst. Kitchen upvc frame also letting draft in making kitchen very cold. Porch door does not lock and lock on front door is a snip... Security not good. Hot Tub is up the garden so you have to walk past owners front of house each time... The summer house would benefit from hooks for towels /gowns when using hot Tub. Pictures of cottage make it look like hot tub in back garden private.
