Cottage is in ideal position for visiting lots of different places in North Wales & Anglesey. In a nice rural position quiet & cosy. The sofa & chair could do with being firmer as you sink into them & can struggle a little to get back out of them. Very well stocked with appliances. Lovely stay. Would visit again Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Very well located and designed property.
Very well located and designed property. Very comfortable and well fitted out. But let down by lack of maintenance on small but simple repair jobs. Living room door handle squeaking, and door sticking, hard to open from hall. Bathroom door not catching on latch and squeaking, Toilet flush knob broken Shower with cover off on top of control unit. No internal bath mat. Bath very slippery under foot, no grab handles. As other people have mentioned :- There is a lack of coat hooks to hang wet out door clothing etc. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Once again we enjoyed our stay in this cottage which was ideally located for seeing this part of North Wales. In general the cottage is well equipped and cosy but apart from the handbooks for the electrical equipment there were no instructions which in our case did not matter as we had stayed before. We found that the extractor in the bathroom did not seem to work and you had to be careful when climbing out of the bath as the spout of the tap protrudes by several inches. The internet is extremely slow. It is in a slightly remote location and you have to drive a few miles to reach restaurants, shops etc but it is very quiet with very little traffic noise from the nearby single track road.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Owners were immediately helpful. Location is perfect for visiting a wide range of fabulous places. Only minor improvements, same as others have mentioned: it was a bit peculiar not to have a house plaque to be sure you were in the right place or any welcome information - although the place is distinctive so you can be pretty confident. A couple of improvements needed such as missing bathroom lock (which leaves large peephole), missing half of toilet flush and room doors were stiff/very noisy so no chance of sneaking to the loo in the night or getting up without waking anyone unless you leave doors open. But on the whole, it was lovely, very clean and had everything you'd need for a short stay; I'd definitely re-book.

Roomy well equipped, bright, with a nice rural outlook.
Roomy well equipped, bright, with a nice rural outlook. We found the bed just a bit saggy in the middle, but this is a small gripe. Be prepared to have to drive to Bangore, about 10mins, for supplies, as you will be in the middle of farming country. The property gives you easy access to the Snowdon Mountain railway and Lakes railway as well as the entire Lakes district, and Anglesea is just across the bridge. We loved our stay and would go again if we could. The owner is next door and is very helpful.

First and foremost this cottage was in an ideal location being within a short distance of Llanberis/Bangor/Carnarfon. The welcome pack was excellent and the cottage was comfortable and warm. The advert said wi-fi was available but although we were able to access and confirm the correct password on 3 different devices all gave the message "no internet connection" Accessing the internet via 3/4G was hopeless with only 1 device able to pick up a weak signal and it proved impossible to download anything. As we are walkers wi-fi is a priority to download walks etc. There are a few other simple matters that could be addressed to increase our rating- Coat hangars on the back of the front door for wet clothing, the ones in the bathroom were not appropriate. Not having a picture of the cottage when we arrived we were not sure which was Seion out of the two small cottages- a name plate would be helpful. Finally every cottage we have been to over the past 30 years has always had an information folder giving details of local services i.e. doctor/vet/ re-cycling etc etc along with recommended local restaurants and instructions on operating the appliances and the all important wi-fi password. We found a large folder under the television but this seemed to contain nothing but masses of out of date "local attraction" leaflets and they were repeated in the top drawer of the lounge cabinet-some re-cycling wanted here!! Addressing these matters would be helpful and put the icing on the cake for this property.
