The Mill is a converted mill, furnished and equipped to an exceptional standard, keeping its traditional style with a touch of class. It offers an ideal holiday base for friends and family. Tregaron feels almost untouched by the 21st century and is a bastion of the Welsh language and culture. The river running through the town centre leads to Cors Caron, a national nature reserve of peat bog which is one of the most impressive wildlife areas in Wales; home to rare marsh grasses, black adders, buzzards and even the occasional red kite. Cosy cottage with impressive views
We stayed at the Stable for the long bank holiday weekend. The cottage is very spacious, clean and homely. Communicated with owner to arranged check in and for essential items. The 3 double ensuite rooms were big and the two rooms with 2 single beds are adequate for younger adults/children. Outside the views are amazing, so peaceful. We used the hot tub which was heaven, the tennis court and the BBQ - all well maintained. Great location, with a quaint seaside village nearby. Would definitely recommend this place.
Stayed 3 nights in May 2023

The cottage and surroundings were wonderful.
The cottage and surroundings were wonderful. A beautiful house, very spacious and very well appointed. The hot tub was great. The only fault was the wifi......or lack of it. Yes there was wifi, but getting it was a different matter. My son in law needed to work whilst we were there and had to drive out to do it. I realise it is very rural, but advertising wifi, implies that it is useable. It is not . This was an expensive cottage and I feel that what we had did not quite match what we git

Really lovely accommodation although a few pieces of equipment needed fixing. Loved the hot tub. Great location quiet but not too far to travel to some lovely places. Really loved New Quay where we saw dolphins swimming and the children loved the beaches.

This is in a lovely spot & the stable we stayed in was really nice. However, the owners let themselves down by not including any basic amenities such as washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets or kitchen roll. Some of the rooms even ran out of loo paper. We also ran out of hot water when having a shower & there was only 6 adults & 2 small children in a 5 bedroom house. Overall a really nice place & location but the owners let themselves down by being cheap with the amenities.

A lovely weekend spent at The Stable cottage with family.
A lovely weekend spent at The Stable cottage with family. The weather was great, which helped, as we enjoyed days out at New Quay and Aberaeron. The cottage was well equipped, clean and there was enough to keep our children amused. Very spacious accommodation in a nice quiet area. Mobile network signal was poor in the area and the wifi was spotty - not that this was a huge issue for us but it did prove frustrating when trying to make and receive telephone calls. All-in-all, a very nice cottage in a lovely part of the world.

This was our 3rd stay at The Stables and yet again it did not disappoint.
This was our 3rd stay at The Stables and yet again it did not disappoint. The property is kept in excellent order. The addition of the hot tub is an added bonus. The view from every window is beautiful. There was plenty of space for 3 generations of our family. The kitchen is well equipped as always. The owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. The owner called when the power was switched off by the power company. When this altered the central heating timer we had to call the owner. They came to the property immediately and helped us to reset it. We hope to be back again next year as we have only scratched the surface of wonderful things to do in the area.

We found the accommodation to be of an excellent standard.
We found the accommodation to be of an excellent standard. We were a little disappointed with the WIFI, which was a little hit and miss. It's always a little bit of a shock to find out that we were paying almost double the rent compared to the week before. I suppose that's the penalty for taking a holiday during the school holidays. Overall the Stables were a great place to stay. The weather was poor but that's just bad luck. I would recommend the Stables to other people, just not during a school holiday period.
