Ideal get away. This property had lots of walks on its doorstep. With also plenty to see and do within an easy commute. We would highly recommend Meadow Barn.

The barn was perfect - very warm and cosy, with lovely Christmas decorations. It was clean and modern and the kitchen was very well equipped. The setting was just what we wanted, remote and rural with gorgeous views. Steve and Rachel were brilliant hosts, and we appreciated the eggs and milk on arrival. We did some stunning walks around nipstones as well as snail beach mine. An amazing week away! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This is a lovely cottage for two people. Superb situation at the foot of Stiperstones ridge, which means you can walk onto the hills from the doorstep. A little bit sad that the Visitor Centre and cafe at the Bog was closed, but probably inevitable in these COVID times. We had a brilliant week. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We spent our wedding anniversary whilst at meadow barn and I couldn't think of a more romantic and cosy place to spend it, The cottage is very well equipped and there wasn't anything I could have needed that wasn't already in there. There are some lovely walks around straight from the door and Steve and Rachel are helpful and will provide you with any info you need. Meadow barn is a beautiful building and attention to detail shows throughout, the surrounding countryside is an apt setting for the barn. We had a fantastic time with out dog Charlie and can't wait to go back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Well situated in a glorious landscape, Meadow Barn provided all that we needed to have a lovely week

Well situated in a glorious landscape, Meadow Barn provided all that we needed to have a lovely week's holiday. We were impressed by the building itself and the use of the space - both interior and exterior, but we wished we could see the Stiperstones better from the outside space - the hedge had grown unruly and blocked the view. Rachel and Steve are great hosts - so grateful for the bunches of sweetpeas and walking tips and the feeling of them being there but completely separate. We would love to come again. Thank you for a very relaxing week. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Meadow Barn is a fantastic well appointed and equipped holiday cottage.

Meadow Barn is a fantastic well appointed and equipped holiday cottage. Fabulously located for walking, peace and quiet. Stiperstones are a mid length walk away, the Long Mynd a short drive. Lovely small garden overlooking the Stiperstones. Surrounded by nature, very quiet. Even better in real life than the photos. Highly recommended. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Meadow Barn was just what we wanted.

Meadow Barn was just what we wanted. It has an excellent location, right on the doorstep of the Shropshire Hills so you can make many picturesque walks straight from the accommodation. The Barn itself is built and furnished to a very high standard with every need carefully catered (very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and patio with a view). There is the convenience of having the friendly, helpful and accommodating owners next door, but true to their word, they did not impose without request. Although pleasingly isolated, it is not hard to reach by car. Would happily stay again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely cottage, very clean and so well equipped. Everything needed for a week away. No mobile signal in the cottage but good WiFi. Comfy bed and a lovely hot shower. Some nice walks from the door with our dogs. We visited the local area, Shrewsbury was nicer than expected. Ludlow and Ironbridge are further afield but worth a visit. Will recommend to our family and friends. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Meadow Barn is a lovely cottage in a perfect location if you enjoy quiet and seclusion in the midst of stunning scenery. Beautifully and stylishly maintained and equipped it offered all we could want and need, with wonderful views and countryside on the doorstep. The owners Steve and Rachel who live next door were extremely friendly and welcoming, attending to all our needs and enquiries but totally unobtrusively - from our point of view the perfect hosts. We had a great week despite, or possibly even because of, heavy snowfall in early April which enhanced the sense of seclusion and fabulous views up to the Stiperstones.

Lovely cottage in quiet location.

Lovely cottage in quiet location. The cottage had character but all the modern conveniences. If you require mobile coverage that is the only thing lacking! Their WiFi occasionally slow but we managed to watch a film on the iPad so perfectly acceptable. Great for walking as plenty of footpaths and bridleways on your doorstep. Local pub a short walk away although it is a steep climb back up to the cottage! Great for a getaway, friendly proprietors but not intrusive.

Historic barn rebuilt with modern 21st century fittings and comfort.

Historic barn rebuilt with modern 21st century fittings and comfort. Beautiful location with views over the Stiperstones, very quiet and an excellent location for walking. The barn is super dog friendly with secure fences all round and a tiled floor. Extensive welcome packs for humans and dogs really appreciated. The kitchen well organised with a vast range of tools and equipment giving scope for 3 course meals , bake off moments or microwave reheating. WIFI always worked for us in the barn and on the front patio and a mobile signal while out walking in the area. Friendly, supportive owners Steve and Rachel are on hand next door. The location of Meadow Barn gives easy access via to Shropshire and Wales.

The barn was immaculate, the owner greeted us and gave us ' a guided tour ' of the barn and then left us, we knew where he was if we needed anything. Milk, sugar, coffee, teabags etc were left as a welcome for us, as it was Easter, even a basket of chocolate eggs were left, a nice touch. The barn had everything we needed And was furnished to a high spec. I would recommend Meadow barn to family and friends.
