The cottage was very clean, and pleasantly decorated and furnished, and beds comfortable.
The cottage was very clean, and pleasantly decorated and furnished, and beds comfortable. It was quite well equipped. Grassington is a beautiful little village, with several cafes and pubs. The parking for the cottage is on road-we were always able to park very close by, apart from on one occasion. If there are no parking places close by, it is quite a walk to the next available place, as there are understandably lots of double yellow lines in a village with old dwellings, and narrow roads.

this is a lovely cottage clean, warm and well equipped.
this is a lovely cottage clean, warm and well equipped. could do with some handy coat hooks near front door and a nest of tables, no where to put a drink when sitting down. no where to dry wet walking gear. cheap gas boiler very loud in bathroom and can be heard in bedrooms. as with lots of dog friendly cottages no where to let dog out. parking could be a problem in summer and public car park a good walk from cottage. watch out for some locals when parking they own the road?? some great pubs to eat in. having said all that we enjoyed our stay and would go back.

We had a long weekend at Monkey Cottage.
We had a long weekend at Monkey Cottage. Everything you could need was there, everything was of good quality , including the bedding and lovely white towels. It was spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend this cottage and we will be returning in the none to distant future. The locals are very friendly , we had some lovely meals at the local pubs of which dogs were very welcome too. We managed to park our car opposite the church for most of the time , parking is a little tight but there is a large village carpark. A lovely cottage in a very friendly village cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

We love coming to Monkey Cottage-it's 'simply 'yorkshire dales' charming!' A very cosy welcoming place, which as we close the door on the last morning of being there we whisper to it 'we'll soon be back!' It would be very useful to have a small nest of tables in the sitting room difficult balancing act whilst watching the television!

Have had a great time in Grassington and the cottage was really nice and was clean and really close to the main road in the village The cottage had all the amenities needed and was scrupulously clean Could see that parking close to the cottage in full season may be a problem we were ok There is a big car park at bottom of village and you can get a pass for a week for 5 pounds Plenty of pubs and tea rooms in village close to cottage
