It makes a great holiday property for six people, and there is a pub just a short distance away, plus a well-stocked village shop, and the lovely Trawsfynydd Lake, which offers fishing, cycling and walking.
Thrill seekers will love the range of activities available in nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog, where the whole family can bounce on trampoline nets deep underground at Bounce Below, or soar majestically over a slate quarry at the amazing Zip World - the largest zip wire zone in the world. You can take a spectacular trip on a steam train on the famous Ffestiniog railway to Porthmadog, with its pretty harbour, and fabulous beach at Black Rock Sands, Morfa Bychan, or immerse yourself in the splendid architecture of the Italianate village of Portmeirion. In the other direction is the Coed y Brenin Forest Park and Dolgellau, offering lots more things to do. Beach 10 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub 1 mile and restaurant 3 miles.
