Nice cottage

It had all we needed. Comfy bed. The inside smelt of dogs. TV remote not functioning properly. A bit more care needed with the cleaning. Garden and outside area of property very overgrown. Brambles, long grass and weeds. Needs a bit of attention inside and out
Stayed 3 nights in Sep 2024

Good location , lovely quiet area .

Good location , lovely quiet area . Cottage cosy . Big comfy bed but no room to walk around the bottom of it !! A bit of a 'drain' smell in kitchen which I couldn't get rid of had to leave patio door open slightly . Although we enjoyed our week the actual cottage was overpriced we felt . Ideal property for a couple not too far from Pwllheli but a car is essential.

Ideal property for a couple not too far from Pwllheli but a car is essential. Car parking outside cottage a bonus but could do with weeding... too many thistles. Rear patio area could also do with tidying up. Enjoyed feeding the birds... and sat a few evenings watching them. Nice bottle of wine waiting in fridge. Bed very comfortable and had good nights sleep but too big for the room...catch legs when you go round to the other side. Many a stubbed toe!!!! The bathroom.... sink far too big for the small space and the shower door doesn't open up enough to allow easy entry... a larger busted lady as I am... bruised myself badly getting in and out... really does need redesigning. Also think there's a problem with the plumbing from the kitchen sink as when my hubby was having a shower and I had washed the pots the waste water came into shower cubicle up from the plug hole. Overall Penlon is placed to visit many places on the Llyn Peninsula in an ideal spot and should we travel to Wales again would consider a return visit.
