Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: No children or infants. There is an unfenced pond, 10 yards away.. Cowford Oast lies in the owner’s grounds surrounded by beautiful, established gardens and tranquil rolling hills, forests and fields. Yet the bustling spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is less than 5 miles away. The area is closely tied with the Neville family who arrived in England with William the Conqueror and settled at Eridge Park. One of their guests, Dudley Lord North, discovered the iron rich Chalybeate Spring and Tunbridge Wells was born. You too can meet the ’Dipper’, taste the waters and promenade along The Pantiles. Alternatively hone your culinary skills at the Rosemary Shrager Cookery School. Explore the plethora of footpaths on the doorstep, visit vineyards at Lamberhurst, stunning gardens such as Penshurst Place, Groombridge Place and Scotney Castle Gardens, which can all be reached within 15 minutes. Fishing and golf are available locally, and there are good rail connections to London for further sightseeing opportunities. Beach 26 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

Warm, cosy welcome
Excellent location - including walks from the door, and plenty of options for trips out. Generously proportioned, unique warm accommodation. Generous, individual touches with a welcome pack. Freezer space for a few meals in.

A great getaway
A lovely, quirky house, with everything you need. It was perfect for a quiet weekend in the countryside. The owners were very helpful when we left a few bits behind.

A very comfortable and well equipped property. Hosts have put a great deal of thought and effort to provide a wonderful holiday property. Would certainly like to stay there again.
