Shower Room: Shower, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Welcome pack. Lawned garden (shared) with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 15 acres of natural and landscaped grounds (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is a lake in the grounds, 50 yards away.. In a lovely rural setting on the outskirts of Cheriton Bishop, 1 mile north of the Dartmoor National Park, Rose Cottage is a well presented, single-storey holiday cottage and is attached to the owner’s home, with views across the lake and countryside. Exeter, with its many attractions, is just 8 miles. On your doorstep the park offers marvellous walking, climbing, pony trekking, superb scenery, bird watching and wildlife. Nearby, enjoy glorious walking through the Teign Gorge and the dramatic moorlands of Dartmoor, or visit Castle Drogo (NT), Fingle Glen, the Canonteign Falls and the Miniature Pony Centre. There are also lots of outdoor activities on offer, including coarse fishing onsite (tackle available to borrow, licence required), golfing, riding and tennis. The sandy beaches/seaside resorts of Dawlish, 13 miles, Torquay and Bude all within easy reach. The Eden Project is 1 hour away. Evening meals available for a small cost using fresh local produce. Shop and pub serving food 1 mile.
