The barbecue and outside area invites our guests to enjoy a meal or just have a coffee looking at the green mountains. The house inside is spacious and super cozy. Here our guests will be able to relax and wake up every day surrounded by nature. Porto Moniz natural swimming pools are just 15 minutes away by car. Just 10 minutes away by car is the sandy beach of Seixal. Just 100 meters from the property there is Eira da Achada Viewpoint with a beautiful and refined view.

Beautiful views

We stayed in the apartment in Ribeira da Janela, a very beautiful part of the island. The apartment is tiny inside but has a nice terrace with the most amazing view. The kitchen is tiny as well, do not expect to be cooking together, one person just fits. The communication with the owners was very kind and helpful. The house is rustic yet clean, and the bed is quite squeaky and old so don't expect the best nights of your life, but overall we had an amazing and peaceful stay. Thank you!

We had to evacuate because of a forest fire

First off, we did enjoy our stay. It's a lovely little spot, out of the way where we enjoyed some peace and quiet. Check in was a little bumpy, because we received our final communication from Ana for check in while we were on the island, but there was no instructions on where to go or how to find it. This was resolved, but only on the day of. The bigger issue, which the owner/managers had no control over was that we had to pack up and leave a day early because of a wildfire enveloping the valley in front of us. We were out hiking for day and came back to fire, smoke and all sorts of emergency vehicles on the road. We packed up ans were out within an hour. I have to say that we were disappointed with the assistance that we received from the managers. There was little communication from them while this was going on and no follow up to make sure that we got settled somewhere else. We ended up booking a hotel near the airport.

Wunderschönes Häuschen

Wir haben dieses Häuschen wirklich geliebt. Die Terrasse haben wir morgens und Abends sehr gerne zum Essen genutzt. Das Check in war unkompliziert und Sabrina hat uns freundlich empfangen. Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Schnuckelige Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick

Diese kleine, schnuckelige Wohnung ist ein wunderbares Refugium für 2 Personen. Auf der Terrasse kann man gemütlich frühstücken und den Abend entspannt ausklingen lassen. Durch die Lage am Hang ist es sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. An Geschirr, Besteck und Gläsern herrscht kein Mangel und auch alle wichtigen Küchengeräte sind vorhanden. Es gibt einen Sandwichtoaster und eine Kapsel-Kaffeemaschine. Die Dusche ist sauber, allerdings war die Einstellung der Wassertemperatur schwierig, da diese ständig schwankte. Hinweis: das Haus ist nur zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Weg vom Parkplatz beträgt ca. 100m.

Schönes Ferienhaus

Kleines, schönes Ferienhaus in der Nähe von Porto Moniz, wo man wunderschöne Küstengegend und allerhand Einkaufsmöglichkeiten genießen kann. Vom Haus aus hat man eine weite Aussicht auf die Berge der Insel. Insgesamt eine ruhige, friedliche Lage, bis auf ein paar Hunde, die in irgendwelchen Gartenhütten eingesperrt waren und manchmal stundenlang gebellt haben. Das hat der Stimmung manches Mal einen Abbruch getan. Ansonsten haben wir uns in dem Haus wohl gefühlt.

Geweldige ervaring

Fantastisch! Het is een prachtig eiland om te verblijven. Vriendelijke mensen goed eten en de rust zijn hier goed te vinden. Het enige waar je rekening mee.moet houden is dat je genoeg handoeken meeneemt. Bij aankomst krijg je 1 setje geld ook voor thee en keuken doeken. Je kunt voor €5 extra schonen krijgen alleen moet je die ophalen in Funchal. Kijk of je dit vooraf kunt regelen. Huisje top! Echt een aanrader.

Schöne Unterkunft - Idyllische Lage

Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Ausblick. Liegt etwas abgelegen, was aber für eine schöne Atmosphäre sorgt. Küche hat alles was man braucht. Bett ist bequem. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten: - Decke im Bad relativ niedrig - Durchlauferhitzer verhält sich sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig - Liegen auf der Terrasse haben ihre besten Jahre hinter sich Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden. Würde nochmal buchen!

Herrlich ruhiges Ferienhaus

Schöner Blick auf die Berge, nicht weit von Porto Moniz. Auto ist erforderlich, da doch ziemlich abgelegen, daher ist man aber völlig ungestört. Ddas Haus bietet alles, was man braucht. Nur die Riegel der Fenster und Blenden sollten mal gängig gemacht werden.

3 dias em plena Natureza

Excelente lugar para passar uma relaxante experiência em pleno contacto com a Natureza. O imóvel de estilho rústico, é muito bonito e aconchegante, dispondo de todas as comodidades com destaque para o magnifico quintal com uma vista espectacular. A anfitriã foi muito simpática e atenciosa com excelente comunicação. Algumas sugestões: Existe um pequeno desnível entre a sala de jantar e a cozinha bem como entre a sala de estar que necessita de ser sinalizado com por exemplo com uma fita preta no pavimento ou então com um tapete alto pois por ser do mesmo material, torna-se perigoso no sentido de podermos facilmente tropeçar. A cozinha necessita de um escorredor de loiça bem como mais toalhas extra. A mesa redonda exterior devido a estar vulnerável ao clima, está a se detiorando e necessita de ser reforçada. De notar que essa foi a mesa que mais usamos em toda a nossa estadia até porque a maior parte do tempo foi passado no exterior que uma vez mais elogio. Foi uma experiência muito agradável e definitivamente a repetir e a recomendar. Obrigado Ricardo L.

Peace and quiet

This property was away from the tourist routes situated high in the mountains. The views were spectacular and the Island beautiful. The amenities were 10 minutes drive away and it was a great spot for discovering the island. A car is a necessity. . When we arrived we discovered the following omissions, no toilet roll, no kettle or small pan to boil water ( there was a coffee machine), no tea towels no bin liners and no cereal bowls. There was no clothes airer or any leaflets about the island . All these things I would have expected in holiday accommodation. When we contacted the letting agency , they provided a tea towel and toilet paper in 24 hours, also told us to expect a kettle, which when it arrived was a second coffee making machine ! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, marred only by the missing items - still no kettle !
