About this property

Recently Rebuilt Waterfront home on Sebago Cove, With Private Dock.

New on the rental listing!! Old “Camp” was torn down and new beautiful lakeside retreat was built. Peaceful lakeside home, located on Sebago Cove. Sebago Cove is at the northern end of Sebago Lake. This cove has less boat traffic which is great for swimming and kayaking, but still only minutes to the big Sebago and Long Lake. Our home is recently rebuilt, 1 bedroom, with a 3 season porch to sit and enjoy your morning coffee or a family dinner while enjoying the view of the lake. Large couch which sleeps 2. Beautiful large windows overlook the lake. We have WI-FI, Smart TV, DVD player, books and games, air condition, and a grill. The yard is great for children and relaxing at the large fire pit. The dock has been expanded to allow for seating as well as fishing.
We are located just a few miles from the Causeway, which is the center of Naples and has many restaurants, mini golf, and site seeing tours. As well as public beaches and boat rentals. Plus, just a drive away to Bridgton Twin Drive-In, Seacoast Adventure in Windham, ME and Story Land in Glen, NH.

So Peaceful
My family (my husband, 2 teen daughters, and I) had a lovely time! The house is beautiful and cozy, very clean! The lake is so peaceful and the surroundings just lovely. Tanya is a great host, friendly and communicative. She answered all my questions immediately! A perfect place for a little getaway; I just wish we had longer to spend there!

House on sebago Cove
The property was beautiful, the water was amazing. We loved the dock and sat out there a lot and enjoyed the peace and quiet over looking the lake. If you are looking for a place to sit back and relax this is it! I wish we could have stayed longer. This place only holds 4 people So my only regret is that we cannot come with my family and grandkids. They would love it here too.

Sweet Camp on the Water
Tanya was wonderful from when I made the reservation to answering any questions I had. The property was close to a wedding I was attending plus close to town for restaurants and more. Wish I had more time to enjoy the waterfront there. Loved how she remodeled and decorated the camp too! I look forward to returning in the future!

Great Location
Tanya's house was perfect for a weekend getaway. The location in Sebago cove is nice and quiet compared to the big part of Sebago. The dock and small beach were perfect for swimming and paddleboarding. Tanya was very responsive to all communications.

Very rustic camp; understand what you are getting!
Understand what you are getting: a very rustic camp from the 1950's era with only a few improvements. Old, if not original wall to wall carpet, no bureaus or closets available to use so you'll be living out of your suitcase. AC units in main room and one bedroom and only one window in each that opens (the others are locked shut) so no cross breeze in bedrooms if you like fresh air. The cabin smells musty all the time which is not the case when we've rented many other places in the area. The place is run down, holes in doors, screens, porch door, with patchwork repairs. Nice flat screen tv and wifi. Nice furniture on the screened porch. Newer fridge and microwave, Specific issues we had: The place hadn't been cleaned at all prior to our arrival and the excuse was their management service said it was clean. Took many pictures and sent to owner, no offer to send someone over or to reduce the price when asked. Couldn't even sit on toilet it was so filthy. Baseboards look like they've never been cleaned. Shower curtain and the one covering the window inside the shower were covered in mold. When that was mentioned to the owner she said all it needed was some bleach so I guess we were supposed to bring that too! Only one person in our party showered during our 3 days there, the lake was a cleaner option. Only 4 pillows for 6 guests, which they knew, with the explanation that no one has ever asked before and most people bring their own when traveling. No baking pans in kitchen to cook nachos, chicken or a casserole, only a few pots(rained a lot so the grill wasn't an option). Take a good look at the pictures and understand what you are renting!

Rustic cabin in nice location
The location on Sebago Cove couldn't be beat. A quiet dead end road with quiet neighbors (except when they power wash their deck for 90 minutes--holy cow). We were close to downtown Naples with lots of restaurants, ice cream, grocery store and water craft rentals. The yard was fantastic, with Adirondack chairs, lots of seating areas and a superb fire pit. There was even a hammock! We spent every day in the water. It was wonderful having the house right on the lake. It would have been great to have small water crafts available on site. We wished there was a place within walking distance to rent a kayak or paddleboard. Indeed, a bit more local information would have been really helpful--like recommendations and suggestions. The cabin is small, but large enough for four to watch a movie. The porch is wonderful-- with a great breeze and room for dining. There were two bedrooms with sleeping options for eight. It looks like some upgrades are in progress--a boxed bathroom vanity waiting to be installed and lots of 2x4s ready to be put to use. The only problems we had with the place were little "homemaker" shortcomings. Like there was no place in the bathroom to put toiletries. And no dressers to unpack clothes in the bedrooms. There was a lamp in the bedroom with no outlet nearby to plug it in. And the fan in the bedroom had no dial to turn it on or off, you had to plug or unplug it. The other odd thing was the lack of supplies in the kitchen. The only baking pan available didn't fit in the stove. There was no cutting board or large knife. And no larger pots or pans for cooking. But these are small things that could easily be fixed with a trip to Renys. When the breeze came off the water, the porch was fantastic. We hated to use the A/C units, but it was great that the place had the units because unexpectedly the cabin got very warm in the evenings--guessing from the evening sun? It was easily 15 degrees hotter inside than out. The A/C helped although the bunk bed room did not have a unit. Overall we had a great stay. Tanya answered questions quickly. And those minor fixes would make this a five star rental.

Beautiful Rustic Cabin on the Lake
We stayed with our 4 Adult Children. One sleeping in the living room. We loved the grill. We love sitting by the fire pit and we loved the screen in porch to eat on. We had Kayak of Naples drop off and pick up canoes paddles and life vests and they put the right next to the lake and we brought our own blow up floaters. At night we sat out on the dock and study the stars. Went running in the morning some challenging hills but it was beautiful. Neighborhood is very quiet and a dead end no extra traffic. WIFi and TV were used also no problems. We were lucky we had perfect weather.

Our Naples visit
We took five grandchildren for a 5 day stay. The location is great; building could use some cosmetic upgrades but it's okay. Could use a clothesline for drying swimwear, air conditioners were great, kitchen could use a few more supplies but we made do with what was there and what we brought with us. Outside grill was great, picnic table and sunporch awesome. It worked well for our group and we had a great time.

Better than expected!
The cottage and property was far better than we expected. Right on the lake! The views were beautiful, the yard had everything we needed. The dock is brand new, and very sturdy. Great place to sit and watch the sunset! There's also a hammock between two karge trees, and I enjoyed finishing my book there! The fire pit is very nice and there are loads of Adirondack chairs around it, as well as a picnic table with umbrella. There's a big grill, we didn't use it, but it looked very nice. The yard facing the lake had a nice balance of shaded areas, and sunny areas. We brought kayaks and headed out right from the little sandy beach next to the dock. Perfect. The house itself was cheery and bright, though it may not look like that from the listing photos. Photos tend to look dark when there's light pouring in from the windows, so I was delighted to see that the family room was lovely and bright. The couch is huge and roomy, and we snuggled up and watched a movie. There's a ton of channels, and I also connected easily to Wi-Fi. There's a kitchen table on the three-season porch, and we ate our meals there, overlooking the lake. The other area of the porch has a sitting area where we enjoyed a bottle of red wine. There were only two of us staying there, so it was much more room than we required, but I imagine a family would love it there. The kitchen had everything we needed, and Tanya even throws in lots of extras. She was very easy to communicate with, no issues there at all! Also, there are two air conditioners in the cottage. One in the family room and one in the master bedroom. The other bedroom has a large fan. One of the days we were there was quite warm --- the units were more than enough to cool the cottage. If you want to venture out to town, it's pretty close by. We took a ferry boat around the lake after we checked out, and had lunch by the water in a cute little restaurant. Thank you Tanya, we had a lot of fun, and we will be back!

Perfect Family Vacation Spot!
Spent a long weekend here with my brother, his wife, and their two kids (5 & 8). It was perfect! More spacious than it looks in pics. The futon in the kids room wasn’t super comfortable but the couch turns into a good bed. Clean, well lit, and nice inside. Lots of amenities, like books and games. Amazing outside! Closed in porch, great for playing card games. Fire pit with comfy chairs. Great dock! We rented a boat in Naples and were able to sail all the way around to Sebago Cove and dock at the cabin so we could eat lunch and use the bathroom. Again... perfect!

Perfect weekend getaway
This cottage was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. Perfectly timed with empty houses on either side so it was very peaceful and quiet. The inside of the house was simple and clean. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch which was perfect to keep out most of the bugs. The owner was very responsive when I reached out to ask questions both before and while we were at the house. Definitely recommend!

Very relaxing and peaceful cottage.
The water was warm and there was not a lot of boat traffic. We enjoyed sitting out by the fire and playing cards on the screened in porch. The wifi, cable and air conditiining were great as was the large and comfortable sofa in the living room. The one issue is that the beds could be more comfortable.

Perfect Place to Relax and Hang Out
Had a great time at this cottage. It is located in a perfect spot with a few restaurants to go and eat (our first day there was a rain out so we decided to eat out that night). On top of that you really do not need to leave the cottage at all. Having the lake in the backyard makes it easy to just bring a few floats, and just float away the day. Also, having the fire pit and a grill makes it really to just relax and grill some food for the night time. We had a great time on our stay and would definitely consider renting again from Tanya, and would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation by the lake. Tayna also made the renting experience very easy. She was very accommodating, and very responsive to any questions we had for her.

Perfect. Close enough to be able to rent boats and jet skis yet far enough away for quiet
This was perfect. Close enough to the causeway but far enough for privacy and serenity. The house is the perfect size. We had 5 people but could have slept 8 easily. I don't think people understand that this is someone's home and not a hotel/resort. I treated this home as I treat my own. The owners are very easy to contact with any questions and super nice. We will be renting here again.

Great stay!
We weren't sure what to expect when our GPS led us to a dead end road with two big boulders blocking our path, a quick back track and right turn brought to a gorgeous view of Sebago Cove and relaxing couple days by the fire pit. We came to visit family at a nearby summer camp, but ended up sitting on the porch or by the fire instead. Tonya was a wonderful (and understanding) host, quick to reply to questions and understanding when we forgot to leave on time. We'll be back.
