apartment renovated in the summer of 2018, in an exceptional 19th century building, in a large park. it includes 2 independent cottages located on the first floor of each of the two wings. The situation is close to Tours (1/4 hour) 10 minutes from the castle Villandry, on the route "Loire à Vélo" and 3 minutes from the golf Touraine (Balan-Miré). The apartment is spacious, quiet, bright and includes a well equipped kitchen. Private and secure parking for bicycles.

Late winter break with dog

Host, Xavier, was very quick to respond to any questions, no charge for the mutt, which is quite unusual and a pleasant surprise. He was the perfect host, there when needed but otherwise discreet. Property is situated in a large estate so great for walking the dog.

Une parenthèse très agréable d’une petite semaine

Grand appartement très spacieux avec deux belles chambres. Prévoir plus de couverts en matière de vaisselle car c’est un peu juste et un grand miroir de pied. Moment très agréable dans un endroit plus que calme et très central entouré d’un immense parc. Visites Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau le rideau , Langeais ,Chinon, Tours ….Tous ces merveilleux endroits se trouvent dans un rayon très proche. Beaucoup de chance car malgré le temps il nous a été possible de visiter ces lieux remplis d’histoire sans pluie et même avec un petit rayon de soleil . Endroit à recommander.

Un court séjour (3 jours) "royal"!

Dans un cadre sublime, très bien entretenu et décoré avec goût , notre hôte, Xavier, nous a acceuilli avec sourires et informations. Notre logement était conforme à ce que nous nous attendions...il y a tout ce qu'il faut ou il faut même le wifi fonctionne très bien. Petit mais alors tout petit bémol pas de télé ( mais est ce vraiment indispensable??!!), 5/5

Superbe appt de 70 m2 au 1er étage de l'aile gauche des anciennes écuries du ch. des Touches à Savo

Les anciennes écuries du château des Touches à Savonnières, construites en 1869, ont été transformées par AXA en salles de formation pour leurs agents puis délaissées pendant plus de 10 ans. En 2017, le bâtiment a été acquis par deux personnes tombées amoureuses des lieux. Après 2 ans de travaux, le rez-de-chaussée a retrouvé sa fonction antérieure, le pavillon central est redevenu la résidence des maîtres des lieux et les étages des deux pavillons latéraux ont été rénovés pour devenir deux gîtes pouvant accueillir 4 personnes très confortablement. La décoration est très hétéroclite mais l'ensemble dégage une grande douceur et beaucoup d'harmonie. Les anciennes écuries, avec leur assemblage de briques et de tuffeau, leur couverture en ardoise, et leurs menuiserries extérieures en bois peint , invitent à la méditation et au repos. L'environnement est magnifique, le parc compte plusieurs arbres dont l'âge est compris entre 100 et 150 ans, avec des essences variées... En dehors du bâtiment des écuries, dans l' enceinte du domaine des Touches, nous avons le pavillon du gardien,, l'orangerie et le château. Celui-ci a été rénové et divisé en 14 appartements. L'ensemble de la co-propriété représente une superficie d'environ 25 hectares avec bois et étang... La situation est idéale pour découvrir tout l'ouest de Tours : Villandry, Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, Chinon, Bourgueil... A découvrir : le musée Maurice DUFRESNE à Azay-le-Rideau... Une semaine ne suffit pas à découvrir les merveilles situées à proximité du gîte. La situation, l'environnement, la beauté du site, tout invite à un nouveau séjour dans ce gîte... A recommander pour les amoureux de la nature, du calme, de la beauté, etc. Au revoir.
