The flat is an exceptionally spacious 2-bedroom, 2 bathroom (1,337 ft2 / 124 m2) penthouse conversion of jewellery workshop located conveniently off the historic Hatton Garden diamond district in Clerkenwell. Highlights include a huge dual-aspect open plan kitchen/living/dining area on the top floor of the building and a Sonos system with connected Spotify account in the reception and master bedroom.

This is our primary residence for most of the year. There is an empty closet berth and some shelf/drawer space in each bedroom, but the flat still contains some personal belongings.

Clerkenwell is a historic and vibrant neighbourhood in Zone 1 London. The area is an eclectic combination of trendy coffee shops, charming pubs, food markets and some of London's best restaurants all within immediate walking distance. More of a commercial than residential area, Clerkenwell is home to a number of architecture and design firms as well as the Hatton Garden jewellery district. The British Museum, St Paul's Cathedral and the Globe Theatre are all manageable by foot (or a short taxi) as well as the neighbourhoods of Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia, SoHo and Angel.

Nice find and lovely flat

The flat had very nice space. Big open space and windows. It is a 10 minute walk tot he Farrington and Chancy stations which made it really easy to get around London. We liked being in a neighborhood feel which had lots going on. There is a loca store for food which made it easy too. A local pub across the street was a tad noises but earplugs worked just fine. It is on the third floor so we had to carry luggage.

Great flat in a great location

We spent a very enjoyable week in this flat, which is near pubs, restaurants, bus and tube stops. It's light-filled and modern with comfortable beds and lots of room to spread out. There is air-conditioning, but we ended up not needing it because there were many windows and good cross-ventilation. The owners have left many little touches like toiletries and snacks, and a very helpful guide to the flat and the neighborhood. Michael, the owner, was very informative and available to answer questions. Be prepared to climb some stairs, but if that's not a problem for you, you'll be happy you stayed here!

Spacious home away from home

Fantastic location with the amenities of home. Walking distance of several tube stations and many places to eat or obtain groceries to cook. Plenty of room for the three of us. As a larger guy I often felt cramped in London but never in this flat. Property owners are great and extremely helpful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a flat in London.

Good location and lovely space

Location is an easy 5-8 min walk between two different tube stations making four lines easily accessible. Sainsbury’s Local right around the block and open late. Leather Lane has a weekday lunchtime street food market with great variety. Apartment is lovely space that easily accommodated our family of four (two adults in the master and two kids in the second bedroom). Top floor great room space (living /dining/kitchen) has lovely very large window that completely opens up to views of near by rooftops and is quite picturesque. Owner quick to respond to any issues we had. Description is accurate - pay attention to warnings about stairs and city noises. A white noise app on our phone was an easy fix to late night pub goers, and stairs were stairs. You know if you can do them or not. Would definitely stay here again

Two wonderful days in London thanks, in large part, to having a great place to stay!

This flat is beautiful and we felt extremely lucky to have found it! The location is nice and quiet yet close enough to the tube, museums and theater that we were able to see and do a lot during an incredible two days. The upstairs is light and airy. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds and linen are very comfortable. Two full bathrooms was also a real luxury for four women! Michael and Laura were gracious and available. They answered our queries quickly and insisted that we make ourselves at home. Thank you for sharing this lovely space!

Wonderful Flat!!

This was a spacious and bright property with wonderful owners. There was a yummy basket of snacks upon our arrival with bottled water (sparkling and still) in the refrigerator. Michael and Laura both answered any questions and sent us a list of information before we arrived. We were even able to check in early which was so nice when traveling with kids because you don't know how they will feel with such a long flight overnight. This flat is a 5-7 minute walk to Farringdon which is on the Thameslink train line from Gatwick and one stop from St. Pancreas (which is where Eurostar leaves for Paris). It is also a 5-7 minute walk to Chancery Lane (Central Line - red). We found this one more convenient for our every day travels in London. There was also a street market on Leather Lane (one minute walk) on weekdays that sells all kinds of food, flowers, and fruit. The prices were really good too. The only negative for us was it is light in London in May at 5am so it is really bright in themaster bedroom and there is some noise from the setup of the market. But loved this place and would recommend it to anyone! My 20 year old son even said after staying here for a few days and sharing the same room with his 9 & 11 year old sisters (which he does not do at home), "Mom, we could live here."

Propriétaires très réactifs aux questions et charmant Un petit panier de bienvenu en plus ;-) Nous recommandons cette location très bien placée pour visiter Londres, Métro Farrigdon à 5/7mn et Bus 55 à 2mn Supérette et super resto vietnamien juste à coté (ngon ngon)
