Wonderful place for a family vacation!

The descriptions of the cottages and the lakefront are accurate. We enjoyed biking, hiking, boating, swimming, tennis and the beautiful views of Lake George and Roger's Rock from the lakefront. Boris, the owner, responds quickly to emails and is easy to deal with. The kitchen is well equipped. Highly recommend!

Adirondack 4th of July

Had a wonderful week with kids. House is so comfortable even on rainy days. Lots of games available. Bedroom up in the loft was great for our daughter and the kids were able to sleep with their parents ts in the cottage which actually just felt like another wing. Would stay again in a heartbeat

Lovely Property

We spent a wonderful two weeks at Pine and Little Pine. Perfectly clean, well equipped, comfy couches, chairs and beds. We spent lots of time down at the beach area reading, swimming and fishing. We didn’t get to use the canoe or kayak but they’re available. Beach area beautiful with plenty of places to sit and look out at the lake. Owner, Boris, is easy to reach if needed. We’d highly recommend this rental. Thanks Boris and Maria for sharing your beautiful home.

Lovely setting and sweet cabins!

Lovely Adirondack furnished cabins with plenty of room for family & friends to relax, play and enjoy the sound of crickets and the beautiful waters of Lake George. Did have to drive a bit south to find quality restaurants, but 9N is a scenic drive!

Superb!

We had a fantastic and very relaxing two-week family stay at Pine Cottage! The main house and the cottage (Little Pine) were just as described in the VRBO posting. The main house is a perfect blend: the woodsy feel of an Adirondack cabin, but with windows everywhere and multiple skylights and screened porches, perched upon a hillside with long views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Truly a perfect setting. Having access to "The Casino" with its shared ping pong and billiards table was a big hit with the teenagers in our family. The north end of Lake George is quiet and calm, and the water incredibly clear for swimming and boating. The lakeside has both sunny and shaded areas, and is never crowded. We spent long days swimming and diving off the docks, paddleboarding, boating, etc. Boris and Maria are very generous and communicative hosts-- we felt like were staying in the home of trusting and kind friends, free to use their canoe and kayak. Everything worked well-- the owners have installed new super-quiet AC units, a sophisticated television with access to all streaming options, and the kitchen is very well supplied for vacation cooking. Great mattresses too! Upon arrival, Boris gave us a thorough and fun tour of the Roger's Rock Association grounds, and through our time there we met other homeowners who were inviting, warm and friendly--it was nice to have a little "instant community" of folks with long ties to the area and real pride in the beauty of the place. The sense of care for the area was palpable. All in all, an “A+” property, with zero stress in the booking and communication process with Boris.

Very Comfortable Cottages in Serene Lake George Setting

Our family of four rented both the large and small cottages, which gave the kids their own place for the stay. Both are well-appointed, comfortable, clean and have good AC for the summer heat. The pictures do not do the large cottage much justice. It is bigger than it looks and sits on a slope with nice views towards the Lake. The first floor has four "rooms" in one very large space - a reading room, tv room. dining area, and kitchen. There are high ceilings and local decor. We cooked most meals in the kitchen or on the outdoor grill and both were in great condition and well-equipped. There is a queen-size bedroom off the kitchen and a king-size bedroom upstairs. Both have their own baths. Outdoors, there is access to the lake and Boris' beautiful canoe and kayak. We swam and ate some meals there. There are two tennis courts up a small hill which we used most days and which were never occupied. Unfortunately, the community clubhouse, with its outdoor deck seating, fireplace, pool and ping-pong tables, was closed due to covid. Boris gave us a very thorough orientation not only to the property, but of the larger grounds of the association around the cottages. Lots of history on the site, and nearby. He was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We strongly recommend the cottages and hope to make a return visit some day.

Serene cottage in a private community

This is a wonderful location to enjoy nature at its best! Nestled in a wooded setting within easy walking distance of Lake George, the main cottage and its guest cottage were a perfect setting for a family gathering. I was met as scheduled by the owner, Boris, who took me on a thorough tour of the property and its amenities. There is a private beach as well as a club house which we were allowed to use. Boris was very helpful and was easily contacted. Pine, the main house was charming! Its decor was definitely Adirondack style which was very tasteful. The house was well supplied in the kitchen as well as all the bedrooms and baths. Little Pine, the guest house, was a wonderful addition. It gave extra space for some quiet time for all guests. As an added benefit, if you're interested in the history of the area, I was provided a most interesting book about the location and its creation. It appears that this area was quite lively back in the late 1800s and early 1900s!! I highly recommend this location. After two weeks, I hated to leave!

Great Spot to enjoy your vacation on the lake.

Great cabins, well appointed with all the amenities. Community spaces were uncrowded and overall very well laid out. This was a great place to enjoy a vacation on the lake with plenty of room for everyone. Some cool history and great water front access too! Highly recommend. Boris is great too! Make sure and hike to the top of Rodgers Rock and hit the Fort. So much fun!

great spot!

My son and I stayed at the cabin this past week and had a great time. The cabin is comfortable with all the necessary appointments including Smart TV and WIFI. There is no cable to watch regular TV though. Great Adirondack decor. It was very clean. We hiked to the top of Rogers Rock from the trailhead right up the street. Thanks Boris!

Perfect Fall Weekend

This cabin was just perfect for us (couple) for a beautiful fall getaway to Lake George. The cabin is just so nicely decorated for the Adirondacks location - and not overdone. The kitchenette was well stocked with all the basics and more. The bathroom was clean and included a tub with shower. The Rogers Rock area is very interesting and historic. There's nice paths down to the lake. The area is also historic and a short drive to Fort Ticonderoga. Everything was just as pictured in the photos. Boris was very helpful. I highly recommend this for couples and there are 2 twin beds which would make it ideal for a family with 2 children. In Ticonderoga there's a couple of great places we ate dinner at: The Wind Chill Factory and the Wagon Wheel Restaurant. This end of Lake George is more peaceful!

Cozy, scenic, just what we needed to escape and relax!

My girlfriend and I both needed a weekend away from work to just 'unplug'. We knew we wanted to enjoy the fall colors as well as get some hiking done. We did both on this trip to this little cottage. Boris (the owner), met and greeted us immedietly upon arrival, gave us the tour of the property, and told us where the best hiking path was. His cottage was super clean, stocked with fresh linens and towels, and very comfortable. We enjoyed our hike to the most scenic cliff, where we had a little picnic, overlooking the lake. If getting away to find serenity is what you are looking for, it can be found here. It's amazing what 2 days can do to recharge your soul. I highly recommend this lucky find!

A Great reconnection to Mather Nature

My friend and I had The expirience, I would describe, staying at the cottage in Ticonderoga, owned by Boris and Maria. Beautifull community, quiet and comfortable for Urban people to connect to Mather Nature . You get to enjoy swimming, playing tennis or ping pong, claiming the path to the top to observe an amazing sight, to create a liitle camping fire in the evening. You choice. Everything was extra clean and available to use. The view of the Lake from the Terrace is amazing. We had a rejuvenation in mental, physical and spiritual Health.

Amazing Cabin Experience

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our family of 4! There was plenty of space for us to sleep and the separation of the two bedrooms was really nice. The cabin is located in an amazing location, with access to Lake George fishing, hiking, swimming, etc. all within a short walk out the front door. Both the screened in porch and fire pit with Adirondack chairs was great to have where we were staying. We had a fire one night and used the screened in porch everyday while we were there. Having access to Boris' kayak and canoe was also great, and we took full advantage of that. Although I did not get cell phone service, there was wifi in the cabin which came in helpful if I ever needed to contact Boris. He was very diligent with answering my emails if I had any questions or problems. Overall, a really great experience in a beautiful area. If you are looking to visit Lake George but stay away from the tourism of the Village, this is the perfect place for you. Very relaxing and quiet but easy access to a bunch of activities to do that are either right outside your door or a very short drive away (hiking, swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, Roger Rock, Fort Ticonderoga, Mt. Defiance, Cook Mountain Preserve, etc.).

Cozy and relaxing!

Four of us stayed here for the long Labor Day weekend. Boris met us when we arrived to show us around his property as well as the Rodger Rock grounds. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The cabin was stocked with fresh bed linens and towels. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept amazing the entire weekend! The kitchen is functional with a small fridge, icebox freezer, full size microwave, toaster oven, 4 cup coffee pot, and a single burner. There is no stove and just enough silverware/plates/cups for four people. We brought our own steak knives and cutting board and this worked out fine. There is a full size washer and dryer in the cabin which was a bonus! We really enjoyed having our coffee on the screened in porch in the morning and playing games at the dinning room table at night. We also took full advantage of the nice fire pit on the property while enjoying the stars! The overal amenities were great! The lakefront is beautiful with prestige swimming and plenty of aderondick chairs for relaxing. The view of Rodger Rock from the lake area takes your breathe away. Boris showed us the path to hike up to the top of Rodger Rock. We climbed the trail twice to take in the amazing views up the top. We also brought three kayaks with us and we were able to store them down by the water for easy access throughout the weekend. To note, there is no boat dock for overnight storage if you plan to rent a boat for more than one day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and is was the perfect weekend getaway! It is important to note that the owners cabin (Big Pine) is in front of this rental property. Little Pine (the cabin we stayed in) is attached by only a few steps to the back of the owner's cabin. We used this path to access the shared grill where we did most of our cooking. While Boris and his family occupied the main cabin and they were VERY respectful of our privacy, we didn't realize how close the two cabins were until we arrived. Thank you Boris and Maria!

Spectacular Vacation

Terrific Vacation. Friendly and welcoming owners. The Little Pine was very new, very clean, roomy, and comfortable. A wonderful place to spend the entire week, and day trips to destinations were convenient. It had everything to make you feel on vacation from kayak, canoe, and all the little touches such as floats, BBQ, etc.. The location was wonderful and the community was very welcoming. Spending time at the Little Pine is a vacation spot you do not want to pass up. Relax and enjoy a vacation at the Little Pine. You will want to go back. We do.

Great experience, would definitely return for another vacation.

Boris has an exceptional guest cabin we stayed at recently. The property is clean and nicely furnished. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is good sized with plenty of hot water for a bath or shower. The kitchenette has a small refrigerator that held the food for the four of us with no problem. Linens, towels, pillows are provided as well as basic kitchen and eating utensils. The view of Lake George and the surrounding Adirondacks is fabulous. Hiking to Rogers Rock was well worth the effort allowing you take in the view of the lake with no obstructions. The screened in porch allows great viewing of the surrounding property. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

Roger Rock- Beautiful Cottage, Excellent Customer Service

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this cottage this past weekend. From our first interaction with Boris via email to checking out with Boris' daughter, everything exceeded our expectations. Boris kept in close contact via email before we arrived, letting us know that his daughter, Julia, would be there when we checked in. Julia was waiting for us with a smile and our keys in hand. She proceeded to show us the cottage, and walked us through the grounds of the Roger Rock Club, providing a brief history of all of the cottages while giving us a tour of what was once the Roger Rock Hotel dating back to the 1800s. Julia then provided us 3 contact numbers in the event that we needed anything. In terms of the the cottage itself, it was beautiful, impeccably clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Everything about it is charming, and I believe it would appeal to all who have the pleasure of staying. We had access to both a gas grill and a charcoal grill, which we took advantage of. We also took advantage of the Adirondack chairs by the cottage as we made a campfire and roasted marshmallows. I have been to Lake George a few times in the past, but I have not had the pleasure of staying in norther Lake George. Unlike the main parts of the lake, this area is much more quiet and relaxing, which is what we were seeking for our stay. So, if it is comfort and relaxation you seek, I recommend this property. And should you want to rent a boat, there are boat rental places nearby. Note that the cabin does have wifi and the TVs receive some cable channels. Julia, however, was extremely kind and provided DVDs in a variety or genres and age ranges, which we greatly appreciated. My only regret is that I did not get to spend more time here. I would recommend this property without reservation, and will surely consider staying here again for my next vacation. Thank you, Boris, Maria & Julia
