Sixth Floor 2 Bedroom / 2 Bath Condo at the Highly Regarded Belvedere, a Multi Award Winning 2006 Built Steel & Concrete Tower. This unit is ideally located in the desirable and central Humboldt Valley Neighbourhood and is just steps away from the Inner Harbour and Downtown. This is a modern, two-bedroom suite which features two balconies, modern kitchen with granite countertops, washer and dryer, 2 HDTV's. There is a king sized bed in the master bedroom and a queen size bed in the second bedroom. Each bed features a top quality, pillow top mattress which and high-quality bed linens, making for a wonderfully comfortable good night sleep. There is a private gym in the building for people who want to work out. There is free Wi-Fi in the unit.
It also features large windows with an abundance of natural light, superior finishing and a big island kitchen.

Beuatiful condo in the best Inner Harbour location

This two bedroom gem is ideally located in the historic inner harbour area. We had a wonderful 35 day vacation. Condo property is very clean and secure. Wonderful hosts.

Central to seeing Victoria

This spacious, well appointed apartment is nicely located in Victoria, putting you within easy walking distance to the many sites and scenes of the city. The waterfront, Beacon Hill Park, museums, car rental, and tourist center are all a few minutes walk away. The apartment has all you need for however long your stay, and the kitchen is well equipped should you want to eat-in rather than at one of the many nearby restaurants. The apartment also came with a designated garage parking space should you have a vehicle. Our hosts went above and beyond making us feel welcome and assisted us in getting to Victoria from the airport. The only wrinkle in our stay was mentioned in a previous review. It can get quite noisy with the windows open during the day due to traffic and nearby construction but the noise was nil after early evening with the windows closed.

Great Getaway Location

A very nice place to stay. The owners were willing to work with us as some of our plans changed. The unit itself was very nice and within walking distance to Victoria's favorite attractions. Driving too, easy to get anywhere you want to drive to. We're hoping we can visit again next year!

Winter Getaway

This condo was in an excellent location. We felt very safe in the condo and the area. We didn't have a car but we were easily able to walk to get groceries, to go to the movies, to visit tourist attractions. The museums were very close as was Beacon Hill Park and the waterfront. Car rental companies were only a block away. Great pubs and restaurants and theatres nearby. The condo was very spacious with comfortable furniture and a very well equipped kitchen. A great space for watching the cherry blossoms bloom. The master bedroom and en-suite bathroom were very roomy with lots of storage space. The owners provided clear instructions about accessing the building and were very helpful in responding quickly to any questions we had. Definitely a condo we would rent again.

Cool Escape From Summer Heat

We stayed here for July & August to get away from the Houston heat. I agree with the other reviews here that the condo is well located, in great shape, and well furnished. We never met the owners but dealt with them (and their local agent) via email and phone. All were pleasant and responsive. Victoria is a lovely city to visit. There's lots to do within walking distance of the condo, and the buses are handy for greater distances. There's no need for a car unless you want to explore the island beyond Victoria, and in that case there are two car rental agencies (National and Budget) a block away. The only negative about our stay is that if you open the windows then it can be quite noisy during the day due to traffic and nearby construction. However, it routinely quieted down by 9:00 p.m. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this condo again.

Victoria, B.C. Centrally located luxury Condo.

My wife & I spent 4 glorious weeks in this fabulous apartment located in downtown Victoria. We are frequent visitors to this area and have used VRBO properties multiple times but this is our new favourite! The location could not be better, it is a short walk to many major attractions, close to bus routes, is a very secure building with parking if needed.. The hosts were a treat to deal with and were very responsive to any questions that we had.. The apartment is very well appointed and we had every amenity that we needed, comfortably furnished, beds were excellent, kitchen had all the equipment you would need and it was great having laundry facilities right in the apartment. We will certainly be back to Victoria, and will be looking at this property as our first choice place to stay.. Dave & Janet McIntyre

The location of this apartment is wonderful.

We were at the apartment for 3 months and the large windows make this space comfortable, airy and with two balconies - open. It has all the amenities for a long stay and the building has friendly occupants, we would certainly return. We often went to the harbour, the Empress Hotel gardens with the dog and wheelchair - there are lots of places to visit on foot for a more relaxing stay. Plus the restaurants, theatres, buses and downtown just footsteps away. Doug and Shelley, the owners, are quick to respond to any queries and very accommodating.

A truly beautiful luxurious condo in beautiful downtown Victoria. Outstanding in every respect!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this immaculately furnished and well kept secure condo with underground parking. The location is ideal; in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the harbor. Also, it is located within a block or two of the bus stop for buses to outlying areas and attractions. The owner (hosts) were great and most accommodating. We had a most wonderful two weeks there and are looking forward to being their guest again in the near future. I highly recommend this property, without reservation.

Great Location, Beautifully Appointed Condo

Modern immaculate updated corner condo. Great views, quiet. Near park great restaurants, close to harbour the Empress and on a bus route. Owners were helpful. I loved living here for 3 months. It was safe and just a block or two from the busy downtown streets.

Quite nice and well located

Being experienced condo campers we are sometime tough with our reviews but this condo met all our expectations. It is in walking distance of good restaurants, grocery shopping and the main tourists attractions. It is nicely decorated and has extremely comfortable beds which are very important to us for longer stays. We would stay here again, and hope to in the near future.

Just finished a six week stay at this property. The location is excellent and within walking distances of most Victoria attractions. Many restaurants in close proximity. The condo was well equipped and beds were quite comfortable. A car is not needed but there is indoor parking if required.

The Royal City at your doorstep!

Location, location, location...in the heart of the Royal City. We had a most enjoyable family getaway Thanksgiving weekend with all of the city highlights within easy walking distance; could have easily managed without a rental car. The condo was very comfortable, well appointed with all of the comforts of home in a well maintained and secure building. In addition to the accommodation being wonderful, the weather couldn't have been better which made for a spectacular getaway. We are looking forward to a return visit before too long!

Home Away From Home

I stayed here for 3 weeks while I was on the island attending a residency at Royal Roads. It was so nice to settle in someplace that felt comfortable like home, but was also exciting and unlike my ordinary daily routine. The building was in an excellent location. When my son and fiancé came to visit me on weekends, we explored the downtown and inner harbour and soaked up the gorgeous turn of the seasons. It was close to all major restaurants, and shopping, but I particularly appreciated that it was on a direct route to the highway to both the ferry, and Colwood where I was studying (Right to Douglas street, or left to Blanshard - easy!) The surrounding architecture of the Government/ Humboldt area is simply stunning! I managed to enjoy the fireplace and Netflix on occassion, and watched the sun set over one of their two balconies! This is a great place for a vacation stay, a couple or working woman/man. The location is actually prime for nightlife too. I am already hoping to go back for a romantic weekend away!

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I were in Victoria for a quick three day getaway. The Belvedere was in the perfect little corner of the city, with a 5 minute walk to just about everywhere! Beautiful, bright skyline view with with plenty of sunny spots throughout the apartment to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon tea. Felt like a home away from home, can't wait to return.

Shelly and Doug are a married couple who love to travel. We actually live in Abbotsford, BC but have strong family connections with Victoria and love to visit as often as we can. This is our home away from home but since we can't be there all the time, we try to share it with others who like to come to Victoria for weekends getaways, business trips or longer vacations.

Why they chose this property

We feel this is one of the best locations in downtown Victoria. It is located on a quiet street that is only a short walk to the Inner Harbor which includes the famous Empress Hotel, the BC Museum and the Parliament buildings. It is also a short walk to Beacon Hill Park which looks out over the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The Cook Street Village and James Bay neighborhoods are also only a few blocks to the east with Victoria's quaint and historic Chinatown just a few blocks in the other direction. Everything you want and need in downtown Victoria is within walking distance including fabulous restaurants and night spots.

What makes this property unique

It's all about the location. We are so close to everything, it's hard to find a better location in downtown Victoria. It's an adult oriented building with top level security access features in place. Building access through the front entrance, underground parking and elevator are all highly secure requiring a uniquely coded electronic FOB that allows access only to building residents. This affords you the security of knowing that you and your vehicle are reasonably safe at all times within the confines of the parking garage and rest of the building.
